Yeah. trying to put a good spin on things. Hopefully it was just some local kid who tried once and gave up. if not, they'll come back with a small hole saw, I guess.
There really aren't any warehouse jobs near me, the order pickers have to work at a pace I couldn't possibly match and need to get up to fucking early, and I'd be deadly behind the wheel of a forklift. I spent years working on the floor stocking and all of that at Wal-Mart, so I am able to handle that, I'd just rather deal with animals more at this point.

As long as there's power to your home, your internet should still work.
AFAIK, the only devices that have to have power in order to get you internet access are the ones inside your home - cable modem, router, etc. I'm not aware of anything outside the home that requires power.
At least that's how it works in my neighborhood. If my power goes out, and my generator kicks in, I get internet back as soon as my modem and router go back up. YMMV.

Actually, it depends on infrastructure of the internet system. While some line amplifiers are driven by a DC voltage, there may be portions that are powered by the utilities.

My sister asked me for a small amount of money today. I’m happy to help her out, but what’s strange is why she’s asking me when our father just got a decent sized inheritance from his uncle with a big chunk of it already with her name on it.
I think the answer is, she’s already asked them so many times she’s mitigating the embarrassment by going to someone new.

Is there something healthier you can do to deal with your stress?
Working from home, I had to stop using my Apple Magic Mouse because the slightest movement can be registered as a scroll-zoom, making everything a pain in the butt (and all those sites that tell you how to temper this movement, it doesn't work). If you use a Magic Mouse, go to an interactive map and you'll see what I mean.
So I bought a basic wired mouse with a scroll wheel, and apparently the "natural" scroll wheel direction is for up to go down and down to go up? That was awkward as hell for me. I had to unclick that "natural" box to make down down and up up.
