Yeah, see, I unsubscribe from a great majority of marketing emails. There’s too much garbage in inboxes these days. No way I would have seen that or had the foggiest clue what you were discussing. I imagine I’m not the only one either through unsubscribing, sending to spam or simply not reading. If I can offer a suggestion: context is a wonderful thing.

And yes, the link works, thank you.

FYI for anyone outside the US, that survey is only intended for Paramount+ subscribers.

Plus, I would also think there's an individual token code in every URL people get sent. So all people using @thribs' link are probably just making that one string of answers to the poll void, because it's supposed to be used only once.

The shared URL appears to be identical to the one I was sent, but I'm no expert about how that sort of thing works.

Neither am I, but if yours does indeed look exactly the same, then yes, I would assume the URLs aren't individualized. :)

It’s probably a fair point though. My point of asking for the link however was more along the lines that it started as a rather vague statement with no context. We don’t all have the same level of engagement in this. But, point taken about the link.

The bit about "I consent to having my personal data collected for this survey" turned me away within two seconds of bringing up the page. I've had about enough of that foolishness to last me 20 lifetimes.

It's cute that they asked that question, as if any of us have a choice.

At some point, somewhere around here, I made the observation that the Lower Decks forum was the Picard forum's lower deck. Now this forum has a downstairs neighbor...so I guess that makes the Prodigy forum this guy:

One of the Co-Producers, Brad Winters is saying Lower Decks is still in 2380 despite that 2381 party memory (maybe it was fake?)

And the first episode set in 2381 will be Season 3 Episode 6, the 26th episode of the series.

Which seems to be a reference to TNG usually having 25-26 episodes a season, and a lot of people considering 1 Season of TNG takes place over the course of a year.

Or there's a LOT more to Rutherford's backstory than we know. Maybe those uncovered memories aren't Section 31, but Temporal Investigations...

In the first episode of season 2 they refer to Rutherford's date with Barnes from the first episode of season 1 as happening last year though. I'll keep season 2 in 2381 until we get on-screen evidence that it's in 2380.

It should also be noted the second digit of the stardates went up for the second season, which usually does signify a year has passed.

I really like this show. I don't get why the Cerritos Boimler couldn't keep his promotion

And where were the non-com folks????

We saw a chief petty officer in "Crisis Point," during Mariner's holodeck movie.
