Offensive linemen don't have to run 40 yards generally, but running the 40 for time does give you a measurement of overall speed. But I think teams time linemen over 20 yards also, which is much better measurement for what they have to do.well yeah it is only about two months away.

On another note, on the sports radio show I listen to they were saying that the combine is nothing but a big publicity thing for the league designed to get some buzz during the spring. The coaches are more interested in playing golf than determining who they're going to draft.
