I'll just point to Galaxy Quest and the answer will appear in the convention backroom.

Will Prodigy have a Native American cultural consultant, though?

They might ruin it by hiring an actual Native American.

It would be hilarious if he just shows up briefly to deliver a parable to explain a cryptic episode title.

So ... does this mean Woodcotay being in cartoon form means we are getting an ... animated woody?

    I'm just askin'.

I took a screen shot of this post to show my friend that I share Simpsons memes with, and explained in detail the situation with a Beltran and his character, just so she too could enjoy how funny this is.

If plants had feelings, we'd probably be hurting them with the Chakotay comparisons.

Like most of Voyager's characters, Chakotay was fine when they gave him something to do and boring when they didn't.

I used to like him fine until Seven showed up. It was good for the dynamics of the show as Ryan was a great addition. But he just went into background mode.

I'm sure Beltran has gone on record saying he hardly put any effort into rehearsing scripts as he usually only had minimal dialogue by that point.

I have no beef with Chakotay. He was fine. Way better than early Neelix or Harry. But I could see how the other actors would have beef with being sidelined on the Janeway/Seven show.

I remember when Crosby was told she was gonna pretty much be window dressing, she bailed on TNG.

What were the beefs from Lien & Blalock? Catsuit for Jolene would make sense. But I thought she was a bright spot on that show, aside, along with Flox (sp).

    Lien had no beef.

She was just standing too close to Wang when they failed to give him the bums rush.

Didn't she leave by mutual agreement? Also, there's that whole recent legal unpleasantness which make a return from her unlikely simply due to PR reasons... not to mention Kes presumably being long dead by the time Prodigy is set.

She was seen "in tears" running off the set.

Then Mulgrew abused Ryan to tears, for years,"for doing that to Jennifer".

    Wang pissed off the producers.

    They wantd to fire Wang.

Jeri was going to replace him.

    They hired Jeri.

    The budget was set.

Then just as they were about to fire Wang, he was nominated as one of the sexiest people in the world by People Magazine, and he was unfireable.

There were too many cast members.

    They didn't have enough money.

    Some one had to go.

    And it wasn't Wang.

    Bye bye Jen.

Which is annoying as hell as Kes was coming into her own. She split up with Neelix and had a couple of strong episodes in season three. Not that I personally thought there were many highlights anyway in season three, but still. ;)

That seems a bit harsh, it's not like it was Jeri Ryan's choice. I bet nobody treated Mulgrew that way "for doing that to Genevieve".
