NFL 2021 season - Belichick Strikes Back

Word on Seattle sports radio stations this morning is that Jeff Bezos is interested in buying or becoming a majority owner of the Denver Broncos.

I really do wonder if Urban Meyer is going to survive the year...

A number of red flags emerged during the offseason about Meyer’s transition from the college game to the NFL, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, who reports the rookie Jags HC’s temper has caused “repeated issues.” Meyer threatening coaches’ jobs has already led to unease among the staff, La Canfora adds, noting the three-time national championship-winning coach’s reactions to preseason losses struck many as bizarre.

That's got to be a horrible feeling to be a player who causes one extra down at the end of the game which turns your win into a loss.

I expect the Bengals to be 2-0 after tomorrow’s game in Chicago.

Jason Peters is questionable and Borom is out, so the offensive line is going to be a sieve on Dalton's blind side again. Wouldn't be shocked to see him literally decapitated on the field.

I think the statistical norm used to be that the team that wins a Monday Night game is more likely tI lose the next game if it’s on the road, particularly if it’s different time zone. So, I expect the Raiders to be 1-1 after their little sojourn to Pittsburgh Sunday.

Only ask that it not be a blowout and no major injuries.

Yeah, I don't like the Raiders' chances on the road against that defense.

Game of the day is Cowboys/Chargers for me - two thrilling QBs. Then there's Chiefs/Ravens on SNF - the Mahomes/Lamar rivalry has been pretty one-sided so far.

So you think we have a chance against the Bungles?

Hopefully the 49ers win. Looking forward to actually watching my first 49ers game of the regular season.

Tyrod Taylor hurt. Some rookie named Davis Mills is in. If it's serious, do they activate Watson next week?

Also, Patriots pick off Zach Wilson 4 times.... in his first 10 passes, including his first 2.
