SNW uniforms and characters revealed (old and new)

They'll mention it but probably just enough to explain why Chapel leaves the Enterprise around 2260 or 2261. But not elaborate and let the fandom fill in the rest with TOS lore.

I'd be surprised if they ever address the Roger Korby thing. They'll ignore it, like M'Benga's age.

I don't think anyone has said that, explicitly. I stated above that she might be a biologist (and not a nurse) to fit that dialogue (although she's probably a nurse).
I literally just quoted someone who said that Chapel would have to leave Starfleet in SNW in order to jibe with TOS.

I could see them using Korby if they come up with a story that needs him, but I doubt they're going to go out of their way to do it. Especially if this version of Chapel proves particularly popular.

Does anyone here know someone with Hitler as a family name? How about Stalin?

And besides, how likely would it be for another Noonien Singh to be on the exact same ship that will discover her ancestor in a few years?

Napoleon has been vilified by the history books. Go to Paris today and you can visit his tomb in all it's glory.
You won't see that for Dictators. Unless they actually won and the nation is still in the grip of their ideology.

I thought Napoleon I *was* a dictator? There's plenty of stuff in the UK commemorating Oliver Cromwell...

Napoleon was not a good man. He ruthlessly conquered much of Europe and his wars were the bloodiest in history until World War I.

I dunno, 620,000-800,000 deaths was horrific but the Napoleonic Wars claimed a possible 4.3 million deaths from start to finish. Even if that number is a bit inflated it was way more than 620,000-800,000.

Britain started it.

The Napoleonic Wars were mostly just about imperialists fighting imperialists. Let's not pretend the British and their allies were heroes liberating a subjugated Europe from a genocidal madman. They didn't like how France, under Napoleon, was replacing them as the dominant power in Europe.

Oh, every major power in Europe sucked ass at that time. ;) Napoleon was just the biggest asshole in a room full of assholes.
