I did not foresee them overlapping shows (Prodigy will air on Mondays, it seems), which is a possibility that kind of throws all thoughts out the window.

Although, in retrospect, it makes sense for Prodigy, being a Nickelodeon show first and foremost, to be separate from the equation of Thursday Star Trek shows.

Prodigy is airing on Mondays? The premiere date is October 28th, which is a Thursday (two weeks after the Lower Decks finale).

No. I made a mistake. Must've looked at the wrong year or something.

Yay for guessing the order, at least! But, yeah. Wasn't expecting any overlap between Prodigy and Discovery.

I’m really surprised they’re having series overlapping as well, didn’t expect that any time soon.

The creators have said in recent interviews that the Prodigy premiere will include the first 2 episodes, and we have 2 weeks following the debut before the Discovery overlap begins.

So if Prodigy runs the remainder of a 10 episode first season weekly, then it will overlap with the first 6 episodes of Discovery Season 4, through December 23.

My guess is that we'll be seeing new Trek until at least the end of May, possibly into June, which is when I *guess* SNW will be airing. It's crazy - new episodes of Star Trek, weekly, for that many months...!
