Justice League official "Zack Snyder" cut on HBO Max

I admit, I genuinely love some of the hilariously absurd Superdickery stuff from the Silver Age, even though in many cases it's a prime example of covers lying. But the fact that so many of those covers just went all out with the ludicrousness of the art (even if it was a lie) makes them a source of entertainment in their own right.

Also having a weird sense of humor does help. :rommie: :D
Yeah one of my favorites has Lois Lane on trial for murder with Batman on the cover saying:

Batman: "I may be the world's greatest detective but even I can't save Lois Lane from the death house."

There's one issue where the story involves Superman tricking a villain to catch him, because said villain will only go after a million dollars worth of stuff or more. So Superman starts saying he deserves money since being a hero is his job, and the cover has him explaining this in the most laughably dickish way imaginable. He eventually builds a giant money tower to lure the criminal, even though there are plenty of other, less dickish ways to solve the problem.

Now, there's a man with a vision.
The context of that is from the Harley Quinn tv show creators about a story of them getting a no from WB about a certain sex scene that wanted within that show between Batman and Catwoman. They said Batman would never do that because he’s a hero.

There was discussion about a physical copy of this a while back. Best Buy just put up a page for the 4K steelbook, so eventually it's going to make its way here.

Cool. I’ll get it if it has more special features than the UK version. Definitely get the digital one

It was a pretty good movie. Happy for people who want it on physical media.

I’ll pass.

I bought the streaming version on Prime. So unless I ever end Prime, I see no reason for the BluRay unless it had a god good amount of insane extra's. Which it hasn't.

My thought is: First, we get HBOMax through our cell phone service. If I ever want to watch it again, I can. Second, while I enjoyed it for the most part, it’s not a movie I see myself revisiting that often, if ever.
