If it's true, I feel a bit sad. I think she has the acting chops for the role but was put at a disadvantage by scripts that had her play a more passive role against weak antagonists.
Basically, her era was wasted. Although, fingers crossed, maybe it'll be redeemed during series 13?

Is the vaccine 100% effective? If not, then some trepidation is not unwarranted unless one is really so certain that it is. Because if you get it, whatever risk percentage that was there ends up becoming 100% if you get it. Just like every other virus out there. Assuming you're told in advance they're carrying the cooties. It doesn't help if they walk by pretending to be cognizant and then turning their head to cough at the last second too.

Even taking into account that this probably is Whittaker's final season, those pictures are vague enough to mean anything. Perhaps John Bishop just filmed his last scene and this is his last day on set?

Yep. I think that she could have been a great Doctor, but she had the weakest material of probably any Doctor (even including 6, whose era I generally liked, and the horrible Hybrid stuff with Clara/12). Her entire run peaked at "watchably mediocre" to me, and generally was just bad. The 13th Doctor had no backbone, barely took charge or actively fought threats until completely forced to, and generally just came off as useless. None of this was Whittaker's fault, but its what ended up happening.
With the "timeless child" stuff being so terrible, and the general writing quality being so dire, I'd say her era was worse then wasted, its quite possibly destroyed an almost 60 year old show. Sure its not cancelled again (yet), but its probably at its lowest point quality wise (old Who was cancelled due partially through the BBC guy hating it and sabotaging it, so I don't count the show being cancelled as a real low point when it comes to show quality), and it really feels like apathy is the most common reaction to the show nowadays.
I don't think series 13 will redeem anything. It has the same guy in charge, the same horrid retcon arc turning it into an entirely different show, and its not like anything has changed that could lead to better writing. Be prepared for, what, 3-4 episodes (I think thats what the show's episode count is down to now, or will be soon if the show continues past series 13) of mediocre to infuriatingly bad material, then probably an anti-climatic regeneration into the next poor soul who will have to suffer through Chibnall & co's horrible material. Also, The Doctor will probably be revealed as hving been Rasilion's mother who also put her genetic material into Earth's primordial soup or something equally stupid.
I'll make a guess. The 14th doctor IS John Bishop but the character he's playing is some type of avatar/clone.

Those photos don't scream "Jodie wrapped" to me. They scream "Jodie has a personal issue" to me. Your Doctor actor wraps. Would there not be a wrap party that lasts well into the evening? Length of shadows, that's late morning or early afternoon. If she filmed her regeneration, why is she doing is so early in the day? Why is she having an emotional moment in the parking lot in public? Why is she still in costume?

We can hope, Capaldi's best season was his last so if this is Jodie's last it'd be good if she went out on a high.
Although I do agree with most of what you said, I feel I should point out that due to the pandemic, this probably wouldn't happen.

The rumors I read online are that it will be a mid season regeneration and the following episodes will take place before that episode. But I thought I saw that rumor for other Doctors too before.
I looked at the Daily Mail article and more in-depth; some of the pics toward the end have Jodie looking upset, and/or giving a (for lack of better or accurate(?) phrase) proactive stinkeye right at the camera. Maybe someone there said something truly nasty and that's why she's being consoled by her fellow cast - and not a filming wrap-up of her final story? (Her era is a mixed bag, but (a) she's not scripting the show, and (b) not since the 1980s have people been so vulgar to the actors involved as if it's a personal issue to them.)

Which is definitely not Jodie's fault and clips of her on other shows are quick to prove she can play characters with backbone. (Spyfall being an exception and showing what her era could have been, if it were that consistently strong.) Props to Chibnall for trying a new take on the persona of the Doctor, but it all doesn't seem to gel and to the point that morsels given in "Spyfall" were so refreshing to see.
Each era builds on or discards what preceded it and they couldn't cling to what the 1970s imposed with changing regeneration from a function of the TARDIS to being (a) an innate biological process, then a couple years later (b) cite there's a limited number of times. Robert Holmes killed the show before it was popular to do so, by doing that. The timeless child story arc, which - for series 12's cliffhanger - almost gives a perception that it's not yet completed and there's more to tell (or perhaps not, we really don't know) - it is impressive given the level of ambivalence over what it's telling. Either which way, it still boils down to the writing and Chibs seems to be better at the ideas (making or borrowing, the CyberLords idea was taken from a disused draft by Robert Holmes from 1983) than the execution for a good part of it. As if borrowing is even remotely new a concept, Chibnall handled that rather well (flying heads aside).
The Fugitive Doctor and Jo Martin's first rate portrayal and refreshing take on the role, ditto for Spyfall are still great things Chibs has brought to the show. Not sure if making the Doctor a being from another dimension for someone whose name is pronounced in the same tone as the theme song (Tecteun) stole genetic IP and grafted it into her own species was the best way to get around the regeneration limit and other things, but even Troughton's Doctor admits "barring accidents (they cannot die)" yet Chibnall didn't throw in any caveats to his (not yet completely told?) revelation... still, not since 1984 have fans and casuals been wondering what would happen when the show comes back next year because he's shaking things up. If there is more to the story and he succeeds, that'll be great. Then again, his holiday special glosses over the Doctor's imprisonment - which goes right back to valid criticisms of his era.
It's very possible. I still want to think he has more up his sleeve but, again, his holiday special (which makes the star wars one from 1978 look watchable by comparison) glossing over and squandering a narrative that had some fresh potential -- even I could fathom ("Sing the wibbly wobbly timey wimey song and remind viewers this episode happened before the Judoon arrived.")
That last bit is a bit much, though it'd be the sort of thing I'd be more than tempted to postulate as well, but - yeah - if series 13 is a step up, we'll all be pleasantly surprised. I sorta was for series 12, for a while. It's sad when McCoy's era changed and didn't go back downhill.
She's been "reportedly leaving" since she was cast, driven by wishful thinking of trolls. That said, the BBC seems to have settled into a pattern f three seasons per Doctor, so that precedent suggests this time it'll be true, but if it is, that'll be why. And of course all the twats will be crowing "I told you, she's going because she sucks and had to be got rid of!" Ignoring the fact that they've been wrong every time so far But that's the nature of so-called fandom now. Start the calls for and predictions of leaving/being fired as soon as a Doctor is cast, knowing they only have to be right once.
Yep. Similar situation with Star Trek Discovery. Internet trolls have been claiming it's been cancelled pretty much since it was first announced. Someday, it will end, likely of its own accord, but when it does, those trolls are going to be all "HA! See, I told you it was cancelled and I was right!"
Treating Jodie's departure as being a foregone conclusion is disrespectful even if not intended to be simply because she is the first female Doctor, which is why I've been trying to avoid engaging with the fandom over current Doctor Who and have instead focused my attention primarily on Classic Who.
I think consequence-free comedy villain antics is part of being a proper Trump analogue.
