Star Wars Canon

Why let another person decide what is real and what's not in a fictional universe?
That's the nature of canon. But, it was more a lesson in how different parts of fiction could be enjoyed regardless of canon status. So instead of worrying about canon status or true visions I focused on personal enjoyment of the story.

Done wonders for my blood pressure.

So, the OT? That's my preference though the Mandalorian almost made it worth it...almost.
I was genuinely surprised his appearances didn't outright ruin the Mandalorian episodes he was in, that they were still good was almost of a shock.

Though I'll admit that despite of the way he was shoehorned into places he did not belong, I've found some of his character interesting as a result of it. A clone free and independent of the war is an interesting story in itself, and following young Boba had potential. Even the part that he would grow up to be someone who Vader would use to outright troll the Imperial officers inability to track a person, and know about too.

Problem is, I'm sometimes having trouble connecting the idiot who got himself into the Sarlacc pit with that character. My subconscious reaction to every mention of Boba/Jango Fett has been “Who?”

I was blown away by this. Of the parts of Season 2 I probably revisit the episode on Tython the most. It has a small amount of appeal. Which is a large part of what Season 2 was for me-small parts that sort of appealed.

Other than that, little about Boba Fett, Jango Fett or Mandalorians has little appeal aside from an oddity.

I'm going to repeat the paraphrase of a comment from Lucasfilm Story Group member Matt Martin that I used to have in my signature:
"Canon only matters to the people responsible for creating content for a given property. To everyone else, its a meaningless and irrelevant concept".
