    Just like Picard's brain is.

    Restored Vulcan. Half-Vulcan anyway.

And please address my point about "Return to Tomorrow". Don't duck and dodge. You've been at this about as long as I have, and you know that's what you just stealthily did.

EDITED TO ADD: There's another TOS example to counter my own TOS example. You could meet me at a stalemate if you wanted to. But I wonder if you know what I'm thinking of?

I would not know. Their memories were stored in orbs. A totally different process.
Again the way the dialogue reads for Picard his mind was scanned, mapped, imaged and than image was transferred. So its a copy and original is gone.

No because in Farscape they were split. Equal and original and I'm assuming the process in Voyager was kinda the same.

Picard was not split. There is no genetic material left. Just a scanned image of his brain....
    Different i should say...

It's not different. Picard's memories were stored in something besides an orb, but a difference that makes no difference is no difference.

On another note: I left myself wide open for you to swoop in and you didn't take advantage of it. What the Hell is that? I'll do it for you. "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" Doctor Korby transfers his conciousness into an android body and Chapel can't accept it. Kirk says, at the end, "Dr. Korby was never here."

Because it's just accepted that Picard is wrong, regardless of past Trek.

So when Kirk split into evil Kirk and indecisive Kirk, which one was real?

My dear Dar70, they are all real. Even the copies? Especially the copies.

It' should come down to if #1 (the dog, not Riker) can tell the difference.
If he can't, then we know it's the "real" Picard.
Yet if #1 turns his nose at him, then we know Picard is indeed dead, and this new synth version is an impostor fake! And still part of the machinations and will of the Synthulhu takeover.

    And they should Kill it!
(just let quirky, fun, adorkable, Jurati murder him, she can blame it on the lingering vision )

    [IMG]

And LOL! Obviously joking, none of the- is it "real" Picard or not-, or any S1 Synth plot points, will even be addressed S2. They've already quickly and ineptly moved on to deus ex ma'Q'ina, so they know they don't have to resolve or address anything they write.[IMG]

Well I was just commenting on Sargon.
Whay about Spocks brain? Why wasnt just his consciousness download instead of stealing his entire brain??
As for Korby. Yeah he wasnt really there. When he was exposed for the fraud he was... he seemed a bit deranged at that point.

Who knows maybe Star Trek Picaed will be good with an android Picard. But It seems sollynto me that the Android Picard is still old and feeble. Would have been a good opportunity to just replace Stewart with a younger man. Would have seemed more logical from a story standpoint.

Getting rid of the main selling point of your series is always such a good decision.

So at the moment of copy there were two Will Rikers correct? Which one was the original?
    - neither
    - Enterprise
    - stranded
    - both.

I would say both. Despite that one of them came from literally no Riker “atoms” I assume.
