Does anyone even WEAR ties anymore? Except to a job interview (if there ever is one) or their wedding?

Many government employees do for some obtuse reason, from local to federal.

Is there a chance we'll see Picard show superhuman strength like Soong's people?

Gods I hope not, but I seem to remember that Q has the power to grant mere humans Q powers.

As far as we know, no. He still has a normal human lifespan with no special abilities of any kind; his new body is physically indistinguishable from a 'stock' human body. Only difference is, no Irumodic Syndrome.

So Dr. Soong said. And Soong's ALWAYS tell the whole truth, don't they? :-)

So, for these writers, that was the only solution for Picard's disease??? Wow.

Looks like she might be rubbing her ear too, maybe about to make a remark that it feels weird.

I'm looking too deeply into this.

Maybe or just the one they wanted to used it since it tied in with other elements.

So no possibility of Picard having a positronic brain link to the other androids? Darn it.

Picard didn't want any 'super powers'

BTW, I've tried this and it totally does not work as advertised.

I can 100% see them doing an Agents of SHIELD thing where Picard unlocks the potential of his robot body like Coulson did. I sure hope not, though. Imagine the series ending with Jean-Luc doing a load of superhero fighting bollocks:lol:

I wore them to job interviews... where I didn't get the job.

Ironically, the job I have now, I didn't dress up for at all. I started freelance, dressed the way I normally dress (black shirt, black pants, black boots, black nails, black everything, except when I break out color every now and then... usually purple or neon), and then I was hired on a permanent basis.

Laris and Zhaban seemed to be pretty popular as a double-act; it would be good to see more of them this season!

Looking at those pics of Stewart and Brady in LA...

I suspect that the maroon half-zip top is a costume designer's nod to Picard's previous uniforms without actually putting him in a uniform. Even the combination of black trousers and a bluish-grey jacket is still within the overall colour-scheme of the First Contact uniforms.

It seems a bit heavy-handed as a reference but I can't believe that they didn't know this when they gave him those clothes...!!

More interestingly, look at this other pic:

The guy holding the sunshade / umbrella may be wearing a baseball cap and a facemask but he also seems to be wearing the *exact* same black cargo pants and maroon top as Stewart. Stunt double perhaps...?
