Seven and Raffi sitting somewhere, courtesy of TrekCulture. All I'll say in the Opening Post. You'll have to click in the link. Some on-set video footage from Season 2.
Spoiler What does it mean, exact change? https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/ae9d7e60-3269-48af-9c3d-d7cab4fb24ea
Maybe this gives a hint about the plot of Season 2... Spoiler It's not the theme of Tapestry or All Good Things, but rather of Q-Pid. Q sends Picard and his gang back in time to re-enact various scenes from previous Star Trek movies.
Spoiler Seven doesn't have an implant over her eye! Hidden for the time travel? Parallel reality where she wasn't assimilated? Something else?
Why is everyone jumping to the conclusion that this must mean time travel? Isn't it possible they're visiting a planet where the technology is basically 21st century Earth level with a human looking population? Perhaps even a parallel planetary development like many planets in TOS were. Or it could be some manner of Q trickery, which wouldn't be time travel, unless you consider the Robin Hood thing in Q-Pid time travel.
I'm glad you posted this video here. I'm glad we're finally getting to see the actors filming season 2 .And Jeri Doesn't have her Borg eye piece in the photo. Season 2 of Picard looks like it's going to have some really good story twists and turns with Time travel for all the characters.
What comments specifically? I only watched the various trailers, none of the interviews from First Contact Day.
Patrick mentioned we'd be seeing time periods that we've never seen before. There's also a banner on the side of the bus in the video in the first post advertising going to Europa.
Well, at the risk of being pedantic, 21st century Earth isn't really a time period we've never seen before.
The Banner on the side of the bus says "The Europa Mission... To boldly go" We've seen very little of it.
Nasa is planning a real space Mission to Europa to explore under the ice with with a new robotic mission .I've read a news article the different designs engineers are working on it a few weeks ago. It's called the Europa clipper mission
Perhaps linking with the Collective gave her an ocular implant upgrade? Spoiler (Detmer is getting a new one on Disco for S4.) It would be a way to do time travel without involving the Starfleet Time Police. After 31 seasons, 700+ episodes, and 13 feature films, there ISN'T a whole lot that hasn't been done before. Spoiler They might not necessarily be restricting themselves to the movies this time (we've had five TV series since Q-Pid).
Well, that will have to be handled by DSC and SNW, won't it? (Not that I'd mind seeing Toronto playing itself on any Trek at all! And if they head up the road to Ottawa for a visit? Better!)
