Ohh, very cool find! That one will be very useful to me. :D Also, insert obligatory Doctor Who reference here. ;)

It looks like a symmetrical version of the science console. It's probably pretty useable as a mini warpcore.

Yes, it's a small semi-circular science console that goes into the wall from the Voyager lab, it's very seldom seen in a few shots. Here it is on Day of Honor to the left of Janeway. Indeed it would be a cool warp core for a runabout style craft. :D

I tried looking around but didn't have much luck - is there any information about the Bird of Prey bridge as it existed around the time of Star Trek 6 or Generations, before it got modified for the Rotarran?

@Bellerophon Wasn't it the same set, but with an added space for the gunner's periscope?

They rebuilt and simplified it for DS9, shrank it and took out several elements, as far as I can tell.

I was looking for clear screencaps of the bridges in those movies, all I am finding on trekcore are extreme close up shots...

After uploading the image from the Canadian Museum of Pop Culture facebook (as found by @batboy853 ), I received a private message from @JoeRalat saying that it was his image and that it needed to be taken down.

I took the image down, but I then compared it to an image of Joe's copy. It seems that the facebook image has additional marks, perforations, and creases / crease marks.

In my mind that would make it a different copy.

Also it should be noted that Joe does not have the only copy - at least one other is known to exist. Another copy was auctioned in 2019 as part of a bundle of 35 sheets from Trekcetera Museum. Link to auction catalogue image: http://frogland.co.uk/redgeneral/forum_images/StarTrek_Trecetera-34.png
Joe's copy was acquired in 2015 or earlier.

I messaged Joe regarding the comparison image and the existence of other duplicates and then asked him this:
"So for my peace of mind, could you please check your photos to confirm that it is definitely your photo."

I hoped to sort this out purely in the private messages, but it has now be three weeks without a reply.

As I have had no response from Joe regarding confirmation, I can only act based on the images themselves. Given the differences between them, my only conclusion is that this is not Joe's copy and it should be reinstated.

I will give Joe another week to respond privately, but if he does not I will reinstate it to the archive.

Sounds fair under the circumstances. I suppose you could inform him that he has one more week to respond (for full super-transparency) but beyond that I can't think of anything else.

Looks like someone commented on the photo on facebook, the museum says that they don't actually have it in their collection.

I have said this before, and i will say it again. Joe does not have sole exclusive right to every copy of the image that ever exists because he owns a physical copy. There is no legal, professional, moral or ethical reason to take these images out of the archive because he owns the originals. I get you are trying to play nice with everyone, but sorry Joe, you don't get to tell RedGeneral what can and can't be reproduced on a public site when the image is publicly listed. You are legally entitled to the physical purchased object only.

In fact, the copyright of an image stays with the individual who photographed it, the organization that published it (like the museum) or in most cases related to content from frogland, the auction house itself. ebay itself has a clear TOS saying that any images uploaded for the sale of an item _belong to ebay_ not to the buy, or the seller.

I thought that was the issue at hand, that Joe said it was his image and RedGeneral thought it might be from a different source. Didn't think anyone was suggesting here that any random image or version of the blueprint was owned by Joe beyond his own physical copy and the images he made himself of them..
