If they are filming in Atlanta, it’s a good thing they didn’t go with team BlueWithout Tony Stark to bank roll the Avengers, they've had to resort to corporate sponsorships.

Sure the past can stay grounded, but that doesn't mean the future can't go totally off the wall fuckin' bonkers....and they would lose the kind of development that made them work in the first place. The MC/TVU needs a past that is more grounded, just as in the comics, there were characters that were never going to have aliens or the wilder end of the supernatural as their regular adversaries.

Yup. That's some seriously grounded shit right here. The comics that had Captain America fight a mutated Ronald Reagan who had been turned into a Snake-Man?
You and I remember Budapest very differently.I feel that‘s why it was such a big deal when Natasha and Clint took their space trip... just like Budapest, you know?

And besides we already saw them as part of the big battles at the ends of Infinity War and Endgame, so it's not like they haven't encountered aliens and magic before.
I'm talking about great comics, not creatively bankrupt shit. Yes, there is a difference.
Found it to be a retread of the superior Englehart/Buscema run from the previous decade. Good but not great."Captain America No More!" is considered one of the best Cap stories. So again, you don't know your comics.

Yep. Also introduced the Serpent Squad and the 50's Cap plus it gave Peggy Carter a name and brought her into modern day stories. Oh and gave The Falcon his wings. Was that when he became Nomad for the first time?
I prefer the Grunwald story. To each, their own.Found it to be a retread of the superior Englehart/Buscema run from the previous decade. Good but not great.
The 70s were my prime comics reading time. My "Golden Age" and "Wonder Years".I prefer the Grunwald story. To each, their own.

It was garbage,
The best of all Cap stories were published between 1964 - 1975, when writers who really knew the character & made him one of the most compelling characters (playing into his status in one of America's darkest stretches of time) whether he was wearing a costume or not.
