Tasha's birthday is July 21, 2381. I have Rene's birthdate down as the first week of September, because Greater than the Sum established Beverly as about 2 weeks pregnant on Christmas 2380. Paths was a little bit off in its estimate of Rene's age. This looks good. The date for Disavowed is spoken in dialogue in one of the early chapters and Force and Motion has dates in chapter headings. I have The Jackal's Trick and Original Sin reversed, due to their order of publication, but I don't think that matters at all. Hearts and Minds should go after Control, as it spoils the ending of the latter. The placement of Enigma Tales is somewhat contradictory. Basically, the Historian's Note puts it in 2386, but virtually all references in the book put it three years after The Crimson Shadow. Personally, I favor the 2388 placement. Partly because it is the one that's supported by the text, but also because it is possible to assign calendar dates to the novel using the Bajoran holiday of Ha'mara and the Ha'mara in 2386 would fall either before or too shortly after Control for that to work. Of course alien calendar systems are always wibbly wobbly at best, so there's that. Also, apart from all that, I enjoyed Enigma Tales a lot more than i did Colateral Damage, so having it as the final (that was before we knew about Coda) LitVerse novel was more appealing to me. The other novels are a bit of a mess. There is a reference to the one year anniversary of Bacco's assassination in Available Light (August 2386) but Colateral Damage moves it up to October, by being set in January and requiring it to be a bit over two months ago. This then drags Hearts and Minds and Control up to October too. In my timeline, I have Fortune of War in September/October and then Control, Hearts and Minds and Available Light, all in October.
The Prey books are solidly February/March/April — that it was real-time along with its three-month release schedule was one of its conceits — but it shouldn't matter where the DS9 novel is in there. We're off in a different quadrant.
I have all of Ascendance in '85 except the Epilogue, which is 5 weeks after the rest of the book, so it's in late January. I have Force and Motion (the main body) covering Dec. 31 to Jan. 17, though I don't have a note specifying why, so that's probably somewhat arbitrary. If I'd noticed a specific mention of January 9, I'd expect there to be a note about it. Disavowed definitely starts on January 7; Ozla Graniv gives the date explicitly on page 8. I have it ending on January 24. Otherwise my dates agree with yours, though I haven't read I, the Constable, and somewhat to my surprise, I apparently haven't read Available Light either.
Once again updating a slightly older thread rather than starting a new one: I'm once again rereading my Myriad Universes series, and having just finished The Chimes at Midnight, I was wondering over how long did that story take place, considering it seemed to span The Wrath of Khan through The Undiscovered Country (with a prologue set just after the events of The Motion Picture) - however, it was said that "Part 2" of the story (set after R-Adm. Kirk's death) took place five years later (which would make it circa 2290/2291). Can anyone confirm or deny the timeline for this story?
While I'm waiting to see if anyone knows the date(s) in The Chimes at Midnight, I figured I'd also add inquiries about A Gutted World and Brave New World, specifically the latter (since I believe @KRAD answered my question about A Gutted World last year(?), in that it starts approximately 10 minutes after the Enterprise-E returns from 2063 in First Contact and the Alpha Quadrant War spans approximately the entirety of the Prime Universe's Dominion War (c. 2373-2375).) And while Brave New World is clearly set in 2378, I'm actually a little more interested, if it's known, when characters were promoted or transferred - specifically Capt. Riker, who took command of the Excalibur (during the Klingon Civil War?) and Dr. Crusher, who's now (once again?) the Head of Starfleet Medical (but did she return to the Enterprise after Season 2 in this continuity, or is Dr. Quaice Dr. Pulaski's replacement?). I'm pretty sure Worf transferred to DS9 at the same time he did in the prime continuity, but when did Geordi make First Officer? How long have Wesley, Sito, and Lavelle been at their respective positions? All this shows just how detail-oriented/nitpicky I am, but any answers would be appreciated!
