Well, it turns out that Precipice starts on January 3, 2267, five weeks after the verdict of Commodore Reyes' court-martial; fortunately for me, Precipice has specific dates which makes cataloging it so much easier than its predecessors. Speaking of, when does Almost Tomorrow (Declassified #1) take place (other than early 2265)? It seemed like Reyes, Lt. Cmdr. Cannella, Lt. Dunbar, Lt. Cmdr. T'Prynn, and a few others, including the station's diplomatic staff, had been on the station for about a month, Capt. Desai arrived the day before, Cmdr. Cooper was two weeks out, and officers such as Lt. Moyer and then-Ens. Greenfield (Cdre. Reyes' yeoman) haven't been assigned yet.

That matches what I have pretty much, though as you say each story has so much overlap it’s a judgement call on some of the order. I have Lust’s Latinum Lost down below The Light Fantastic.

I think the issue is more that none of the books it overlaps with mention the major galactic crisis that is ostensibly brewing!
We’ve had other major crisis‘s like the Cardassian War that were not mentioned in other episodes/books until after the event.
I mean I haven't read the books it overlaps with, but I have heard the Prometheus trilogy on audio, and it's a major galactic crisis, with a war nearly breaking out, and multiple major powers becoming increasingly hostile. It's not the kind of thing where the folks on Titan would be like, "Oh, let's do our own thing today, nothing to worry about"-- I don't think it really compares to the Cardassian Wars which were distant to the Enterprise (and not an existential threat to the Federation). I just feel like there was plenty of timeline space for this story to be slipped in, so it seems weird to me the authors picked a month that already had four or five overlapping novels in it.
Need I remind you, we heard nothing about what the Enterprise (Starfleet’s flagship) was doing during the Dominion War, aside from putting out “brush fires” and preserving planets of youth while DS9 was taking the major brunt of the war.
I don't think not hearing about one ship during a galactic crisis is the same thing as not hearing about a galactic crisis.
Well in the novels we have. They stopped the creation of a artificial wormhole by the Dominion. Plus that was when Ro was reintroduced
Yeah, but still on DS9, in terms of the TV episodes, there’s never any mention of Starfleet’s Flagship leading any battles or even claiming victory. Like Betazed; there’s reports of the Tenth Fleet being out of position and on training exercise when the Dominion conquer it, and then the 2nd fleet tries three times in a month, but still doesn’t take it back. And then we don’t hear anything after “The Sound of Her Voice” about Betazed (which I think is considered a core world or even one that is very close to the heart of the Federation). It would’ve made (official) sense to have had someone mention that the E had retaken Betazed. But, also, as Ru’affo put it, the Federation was facing attacks from all sides in the 2370’s: the Borg, the Dominion, The Klingons. Really it was a time of “another war...oh golly!” by most people. It would be like the 1920’s and 30’s, people were tired of war and weren’t too concerned that Germany was rebuilding. Same goes for 2385, the people are tired of war, so another far off conflict isn’t going to interest most.
I thought I read somewhere that Behind Enemy Lines and Tunnel Through the Stars were incompatible with the DS9 relaunch.
If anybody knows, can you please tell me when in 2381 are Rene Picard (Picard's son, not nephew) and Natasha Riker-Troi are born (exact dates are preferable, but just a month will work if there's no specific date(s))? I know Tasha was born during Over a Torrent Sea, which takes place between mid-February 2381 (shortly after Star Trek: Destiny) and ends on August 4, and that Rene was established as being barely 1 year old in Paths of Disharmony (c. October 2382), which would put his birthday in late September/early October 2381. Can anyone confirm that?
