Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Northeast Texas gets snow every year but the rest....nope. I would love snow. I think we got about half an inch of snow about 13 years ago and the entire greater metropolitan area came to a standstill.
two snowflakes are falling over texas

#1: let's just burn up
#2: no - let's go to austin an cause havoc

Here we hardly ever get any snow... but we don't have deserts.

Less than 15% of Texas is desert. We have snow and deserts, the ocean, lakes, rivers, mountains, farmlands, swamplands, forests, and hill country. Take your pick. Where I live, it's the suburbs--converted farmland-- it was once orchards and sugar farms . Closer to the city is more swampy--well, under all the concrete, anyway.

Good for you. We have all of that here too, plus ski slopes less than two hours from here. So if want snow, I know where to get it but I never have to shovel it out of my driveway.:D

that needs to be a very special spot on the map of france - care to show it?

you need some fucking snow

Why would you wish that on anyone?!

where i'm from we do get snow

... to @Avro Arrow that probably looks like summer

Hey, it's not like I live in Iqaluit or something! ;) I actually live in the southern reaches of Canada. While we've certainly had winters like that, our summers are pretty nice! :)

As much as I complain about the snow (and I admit, I complain about it a lot...), I have to admit that this year hasn't really been that bad. Sure, there's been some, and it even started much earlier than usual, but just before this week, we went through 3 or 4 weeks of warmer than seasonal temperatures, and very little snow.

i like snow

sun is shining - -20°C - 2 meters of snow (in the open)

... and a big glass of mulled wine (it can't get any better)

----

@Avro Arrow, you may call me a pervert now

Nah, I don't think I'll do that (and not just because I'd have to warn myself for flaming! ;) ). I know there are people out there who like snow... I've even met a few IRL, so I know they exist! I may not understand their worldview, but IDIC and all that, right? :)

We will just have to agree to (very strenuously) disagree!
