News The Disney+ (The New Streaming Service) Thread

I can't watch Coco without getting all teary. We've watched it at least a dozen times--it is one of my favorite movies of any genre.

I still love how colorful it was. For a movie about death and loss, this was one of the most visually pleasing films Pixar has ever done.

My mom and I just watched Incredibles II for the first time since seeing it in theaters. I find it a bit funny that two of my all time favorite superhero movies, the two Incredibles movies, are not from Marvel or DC, and are not based on comics.

as someone who absolutely loved the first Incredibles, I consider the second one to be one of the worst Pixar movies. I consider Cars 2, the good dinosaur, and Coco to be objectively worst films, but I hate Incredibles 2 the most. I really hope that Soul is as good as some of the early reviews say, because I've almost completely lost faith in Pixar's ability to make a movie that isnt awful.

Indeed, yes. My favorite super hero films are not related to any comic properties. Incredibles and Incredibles II are a lot of fun. I would add Super Hero High as rounding out the top five for me.

OK, why do you hate it so much? I really don't understand who loves the first movie can hate the second one so much.

I don't know what to say, this is crazy. Crazy good mind you.

Now all they need to do is announce that, while the Sequel Trilogy totally happened and is 100% real (so keep buying the Blu-rays!), it might have, oh, happened in a different universe than the one in which The Mandalorian and Friends takes place... :p

Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward that.
I'm a little disappointed the Zootopia series is focusing on background characters. Ever since the movie came out, I've been wanting a police procedural series with the characters from the movie. Something done in the style of shows like the Law & Orders or the NCISs.

A DMV episode would be hilarious, but they probably wouldn't be able to do much before they ran out of time.

Cool, I got the first two seasons back when they first came out on DVD, but never got around to getting 3 and 4. I had actually been thinking about getting them once I was buying TV shows and movies again, now I'm glad I didn't.

I see Wes Anderson's stop motion Isle of Dogs is on D+, not a wholly expected matchup but cool to see nonetheless. Probably not to everyone's tastes but it's an interesting movie with a cool fun and quirky lineup of voice actors.

* used cool twice, I need to expand my vocabulary...

I love that film. Would've been my top choice for best animated film of the year if it hadn't been for Into the Spider-Verse.
