I just can't get hyped for this at all I must be old

Metacritic gives it 75. That’s really high for the first season of a genre show.

 

I really don't care what others are thinking about this show. I'm going to watch it myself and just see what I think about it.

I know, how dare I.... form an opinion of my own.

 

You don't use critics to form your opinion for you, you use it to filter out what to check out when you're not sure so you don't have to watch 300 shows to find the good ones.

 

Maybe you do. I don't.

 

I also don't baselessly act sanctimonious about coming to my own decisions, completely misunderstanding why people care about critics and rudely implying they're opinion slaves for looking at critic reviews.

 

I never bother with critic because they are paid to give an opinion on something so they will do that but they'll do that with their own thoughts and biases. I go with my gut, if I feel I won't like something I'll just avoid it, much easier to do it that way too.
