Poll Uniforms: TNG or early DS9?

I would’ve preferred “Picard” to dig out the alternate future TNG uniforms that we saw in “All Good Things” and “Endgame”, vs what the used. Or used a slightly redesigned version of the rejected Generations uniform.

I use to think that but now looking at them again I personally think it was for the best. Both of those futures were reset or altered so I don't think they needed to be used.

The AGT uniforms wouldn't have worked on Picard. Their whole point was to be "futuristic" meaning you were supposed to look at them and think "future." That works in an episode where you're looking at the future, they don't work the same when they're being used as "present day" uniforms, even if that present day is the same time period that had previously been seen as the future.

I dunno....I myself LOVE the TMP uniforms. They're my favorite! The Picard ones are still awesome though, and I own two of them that I wear around the house sometimes. I guess I just love Star Trek uniforms altogether!

The First Contact movie ones looked by far the best of these choices to me. They looked simple and glassy with the grey and the collars adding a subtle splash of color. Probably my second favorite Trek uniform behind the GOAT Maroon Monster.

Not to mention that those AGT uniforms looked like somebody's grandfather designed them, with pants hiked all the way to your armpits.
