The season finale is supposedly titled "Outside". So the child finally gets out of the Holodec.
And "the good of the people" is because they found a way for him not to cause burns anymore...

Indicating a 3 parter? I was hoping for a trip back to that communications outpost we saw in Ep.1. Maybe next season.....

Does Book's ship have an actual name other than "my ship"?
I’ve always thought she was middle management. Lol
I think that Season 3 feels the most Star Trek out of Discovery's run and the only problem with it is that it only got 13 episodes this season (it needs at least 15 episodes next time).
Picard only got ten episodes. Be grateful we're not there yet.
Has anyone noticed that are are very few Orion males in the company of Osyra?
I wonder why that is? Why does she have more Andorian males in her company?
Know what type of plant you get when you cross an Osyra with an Andorian?
An egg plant.
Off-Topic but CBS All Access related: I only watched the first episode of the new Twilight Zone when it first came out. I decided to kill some time by watching the rest of the episodes. It's going to be a sloooooowwwww day, so I figured why not?
Then I noticed on the CBS All Access page, they have the option to watch those episodes in black-and-white! That just made my day. The Twilight Zone just doesn't feel right when it's in color.
The show is offered in both color versions and black-and-white versions.I don't know. When color TVs came up people were willing to pay good money to have them... So my guess is this will get old pretty quick.
Certain things work better in black-and-white. The atmospherics, the moodiness, and eeriness work better that way.Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Picard was also supposed to be the most expensive Star Trek show ever made.Picard only got ten episodes. Be grateful we're not there yet.
Perhaps. Even though I loved the show, the use of Shutterstock footage in the vision of the Admonition was bizarre.......Picard was also supposed to be the most expensive Star Trek show ever made.
I have a feeling compensation for Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, Avika Goldsman and Michael Chanbon ate a lot of that budget. Re-using CG from Discovery was pretty lame.
