impressive that Stewart can subject himself to a schedule like that at his age.Just noticed updated filming dates, Picard filming back To back. 3 live action series being filmed at once with 2 animated shows in production.

Shooting S2 and S3 back-to-back makes sense in Picard's case. It gets them back to where they would've been if 2020 had gone differently.Just noticed updated filming dates, Picard filming back To back. 3 live action series being filmed at once with 2 animated shows in production.

According to Jeri Ryan, the start date has been pushed back to Feb. 1st:

Womp, womp, but hardly a big push! For all we know, January 2021 was nebulously the start date in the final week, haha.
It's only a little more than a week (It was Jan. 21st. They might be finalizing things.)
It's important to get all your ducks in a row:

Oh wow, I'm finally seeing this post over two months late. That's savvy af. Filming Star Trek: Picard back-to-back is an excellent approach and I bet the writing staff have had plenty of time to set a general course for the third season by now as well.

Dark Horizons movie news had a article about the Health Department asking Hollywood studios asking to halt filming of tv shows in LA County several for weeks due to rising rates of the virus.
I seem to recall hearing somewhere that TV productions are especially being prioritized at the moment, since once they are complete they can air/stream, unlike big budget movies which need a theatrical release, despite what Warner Bros might think. Also, by having new content available on TV, it give people incentive to stay home and safe. After all, I doubt it's any coincidence that the anti-Lockdown protests really kicked into gear in the spring after a majority of the shows aired their last complete episodes and went on hiatus.
I haven't seen Wonder Woman '84 yet, but I'm glad to hear they're not using any of those Top 40 Hits. They've been run into the ground. '80s Pop isn't anywhere near where Classic Rock is yet, but I can see it getting there one day, where I'll never want to hear those songs again.Semi-OT: In all seriousness, WW84 has taken a lot of flak for not having a ton of 80's stuff on the soundtrack (the streaming release was no doubt a factor in it).
What was current in 1984? (Physical, Heart of Glass, Karma Chameleon, Beat It, Cruel Summer, Too Shy, I Ran So Far Away).
VERY expensive songs all.
I'm talking in the dark, since I haven't seen it, but I'd get a kick if they had some deeper cut, lesser-known songs.
