What else could they do? Thoughts welcome....

Burnham heads back in time to the Gamma Quadrant and meets a shapeshifting species. After distrusting her, she speaks for 5 minutes and cries and they see the value in trusting. They turn the their drug-addicted soldiers into farmers and massage therapists who bringing joy across the quadrant.

Saru’s skin is dry, so Burnham enters a wormhole looking for a cure, taking her back in time to the Delta Quadrant. She meets a sporocystian lifeform who is looking to breed. Burnham has genes unique in the universe, and the sporocystian mates and builds a new caretaker. Captain Janeway plods around the Alpha quadrant and Chakotay is killed in a Maquis attack.

Burnham visits the 24th century just as an omnipotent being is about to put humanity on trial for going too far too fast. The being, within 5 minutes of meeting Burnham, knows that was not the case. The Human species is surpassing his own race in terms of intellect, so he trots off to upset some Nausicaans and never meets the Federation.

They’ve run out of dishwasher tablets, so Bunrham takes Book’s ship. She travels through time and arrives in France meeting a small boy on a vineyard in La Barre, France. The boy is a little shit, with no interest in anything other than stomping on grapes and swearing in French. Burnham points at the sky and goes “ex astra, scientia” and starts crying. The boy pledges himself to a life of science and becomes a famous Starfleet Captain.

Burnham visits the Gamma Quadrant, where a race of cyborgs is assimilating humanoid species without remorse. After standing on one of their walkways and whispering and crying, they concede that resistance is in fact *not* futile. They un-assimilate their people who they are now calling part of the “co-operative” and focus on building artisan goods and producing fresh breads.

Burnham needs a cure for Tilly’s hangover, and the cure is in ancient Earth. She travels back to around earth year 0. She finds a man in Jerusalem who hates his father and is rebelling against him. Burnham convinces the man that his father his not his enemy and the importance of sacrifice. Burnham’s mother turns up for some reason and fires a ray turning water into wine. Burnham gives the man a recovery hypospray and says “take a shot of this when things go bad and it’ll fix you up.”

Hope we're done with time travel on this show. Next year should be about exploring and reconnecting the galaxy. Plenty of good stories there. This show could use a break from a "big bad" for awhile.

I hate to bring this to you but next week they find that the chain has done irreparable damage to the federation and the only way to fix it is to ONE LAST TIME go back in time and fix it before it becomes too bad but they use the Nexus so it's only indirect time travel, they meet kirk there but they don't know him so they don't think it's a big deal. Picard is also there pontificating about something...

Season 4 will begin with Burnham crying somewhere in the future, when Tilly appears and try to say serious words about how difficult the things can be. Burnham then hug Tilly and do a turn all around the ship, sometimes crying, sometimes giving hugs.
"Red allert" - we hear Saru saying and calling Burnham to the bridge. They found a crying creature which will destroy the Discovery... Only the super crying (boring and annoying) Burnham can make the creature don´t destroy the ship. She has success and Saru left the command cause Burnham is smarter than all the peoples and creatures in the universe, she deserves to be the captain! She tells the crew a secret... "I was the teacher of Kirk in starfleet, last time I come back in time. Cause this he was the great captain we all know." Everyone begins to cry....
"Red alert!!" Says the computer voice "To much tears in the spore drive" Burnham runs to the engineering, to save the day!!
Q appears on the bridge... "What the hell are going here? I hear all the tears in the continuum. It can´t go ahead!" Saru tries to explain all the hard adventures they passed. Q puts the right hand over his own face... "It´s to much even for me!! I need to go back to the times when starfleet was interesting". Q snap the fingers, and fades away while Burnham returns to the bridge... Borgs, Romulans and klingon ships appears on screen. So we hear Burnham to say "I have a plan!".... Credits.

    Wait for the next episode!

Burnham walks up to Ossyra's henchman and whispers "Doesn't she look tired?", bringing about the fall of the Emerald Chain.

Turns out Ossyra was against the chain all along, she pretended to go along and even betrayed her own father to infiltrate them and bring them down from inside... Wait that's the plot of "Patterns Of Force"!!!

No, I love it! It is Star Trek like we never saw before...
Seriouslly, the show was bad written, and except Saru, Staments and Reno, the other characters has zero charisma. But looks like they will ruin Saru and Burnham will take the command.

Nah, not for a while. Saru's "ruin" is the basic character compromised by his past plot.

Yeah, but the previous incarnacions where enjoyable, way to much better written in the vast majority of the episodes.
Disco is bad... In fact I think the last season started well to be honest, at least the first 3 episodes, but after that... Gene must be revolving in the tomb.
