That's what I was thinking.Perhaps they have bigger long term plans for Cassie(young avengers?) and they need someone that can do multiple movies.
Might be a set up for "Young" Avengers. We've got hallie Steinfeld taking over for Hawkeye
We've got tatiana maslany as She Hulk
IronHeart was just announced so eventually Riri Williams
I think Marvel Studio's is laying the foundation for their own "Defenders" level teamup series.
Yeah, Feige is totally setting up Young Avengers. We've got Cassie Lang in from the Ant-Man movies, we've got Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, photos from WandaVision show a set of cribs, strongly implying Wiccan and Speed. America Chavez was a second-generation young Avenger, and she's showing up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Rumors have suggested that Carl Lumbly's character in Falcon and Winter Soldier will be Isaiah Bradley, setting the stage for Eli Bradley / Patriot. We have Ms Marvel coming, and while she was never a "young" Avenger to my recollection, she was in fact briefly a member of the main team and would be a natural fit. Likewise with Ironheart, no connection to the Young Avengers in the comics, but a natural fit nonetheless. We're meeting Kang the Conqueror in the next Ant-Man movie, and young Kang was Iron Lad.Might be a set for "Young" Avengers.
And who is to say Emma Fuhrmann couldn't? It sounds like she wasn't even consulted on this.Perhaps they have bigger long term plans for Cassie(young avengers?) and they need someone that can do multiple movies.

They have both been members of the Champions team, which isn't that far off from the Young Avengers. I could easily see them combining the two teams. We have Ms Marvel coming, and while she was never a "young" Avenger to my recollection, she was in fact briefly a member of the main team and would be a natural fit. As long as they keep making movies, never?Good, I hope that's true.
Do we know when Sony will lose the rights to Spider-Man and he'll be fully under Marvel's control?
Marvel didn't have the brightest lawyers when the deal was made.I thought that kind of stuff usually had a specific end date?
