    It looks like Burnham is pulling her phaser on a guybefore it quickly cuts to a reaction shot from Georgiou. If Lorca shows up next week, I'm going to kiss Alex Kurtzman.

    Looks like there will be at least one scene checking back in on the "Burn mystery" over in the PU? I wonder how they'll stick it into the MU narrative? I would be worried about losing momentum in the story if it's placed in the middle.

    I did think they were playing with fire with all the talk of Lorca. If he doesn’t show up, a lot of folks are going to be disappointed, I expect.

    Yeah, this season has taken me by surprise. I was not expecting a revisit to the MU and honestly have mixed feelings. But, it is such an intriguing exploration of Georgiou and her character that I am willing to see it out.

    But, I'm hoping the Burn stuff ties back in some how.

    The opening shot of discovery coupled with the music gave me serious battlestar galactica vibes.

    I really like that they're addressing what was hinted at in the s1 mirror universe arc that georgiou was already showing signs of having a 'good' character, at least by terran standards and that was seen as a weakness by lorca and burnham.

    Probably about as dry as it was when ds9 was using the mirror universe once a season.

    Discovery has a character from the mirror universe its not outside of reason for the show to revisit it.

    Wait until next season when the Mirror Universe shows up again. MU Vance and MU Tareckx team up to invade the Prime Timeline and get themselves that spore drive back.
