Spoilers Season 3 Episode 10 'Terra Firma pt 2' promo

Wait until next season when the Mirror Universe shows up again. MU Vance and MU Tareckx team up to invade the Prime Timeline and get themselves that spore drive back.
With MU Book. Which presents problems for Micheal because Prime Book dies this season so she ends up with another Georgiou situation.

It would actually be interesting to see what a 32nd century mirror universe is like. In the novels the terran rebellion ended up forming a federation-like organisation and allying with a dominion that was just and peaceful. Would be fun too something similar brought to life.

The Burn probably never occurs in the MU and this is their golden age, like the 23rd/24th century was in the PU.

The whole thing is one big set-up / redemption arc by the writers of the Section 31 show to position mirror-universe Georgiou as someone who now understands and cares about defending the values of the prime-universe Federation -- but will inevitably go her own way about doing so.

It looks like pretty much everything that happens is going to be in service to that objective. Guess what the outcome of that will be...

I liked Yeoh as prime Georgiou; I find the mirror Georgiou is still overly two-dimensional and was accepted far too easily by the Disco crew. Equally, I really, really don't give a rat's ass about Section 31, especially not as the primary focus of a spin-off series. S31 was just about acceptable as a one-off plot device but like the MU and the Borg, they simply can't leave it alone.

Meh.

Probably about as dry as it was when ds9 was using the mirror universe once a season.

Discovery has a character from the mirror universe its not outside of reason for the show to revisit it.

Exactly it was sucked dry to the point it was a desert after DS9 which is why it should never have been seen again but DIS makes its the main season 1 plot, a 3rd season 2 parter and its 3rd to 4th biggest character the MU emperor.

All terrible ideas and now it seems we get a show in the also sucked dry and ruined Section 31 with an MU lead

Discovery made the mirror universe actually interesting and terrifying.

You don't like the idea of a section 31 show, don't watch it.

Indeed, yes. There is a genuine feel of an Empire, like Rome or like Persia. There is this air that everyone is out for you, yet conceals true intentions behind each statement. An actual assasination is bold-but the conspiracies leading up support tenuous cooperation.

As Spock would say it is fascinating to see such human behavior.

Looks like there will be at least one scene checking back in on the "Burn mystery" over in the PU? I wonder how they'll stick it into the MU narrative? I would be worried about losing momentum in the story if it's placed in the middle.

any PU stuff will probably be at the end of episode when Burnham returns to Discovery.

The fact you have to live your life being unable to trust anyone and also being unable to show your true self would be an absolute living hell of constant anxiety.

Just thought about one Thing: what if the short trek calypso had always been a mirror universe version of discovery s3 ?

There wasn't any Imperial bling anywhere on the ship, and external shots of the saucer showed "USS Discovery". So I'd have to say no, it wasn't the MU version.
