Considering all the complaints from the first season about militarism and conflict among the crew, I don't know why crying is the next big buttsore.After that last TL;DR post I built, I kind-of wish we were back at the crying thing!
Apparently it means "unearned emotionalism" which I don't quite track with but to each their own.

I'm just going to cut-and-paste what I said almost two years ago, on January 7th, 2019 because all of it still stands, word-for-word:
Nothing will change the minds of people who are dead-set determined to hate the series no matter what. They'll just double-down and triple-down on their position, reach further and further to justify their dislike, or just not say anything at all rather than admit to liking any of it.
So if people in the middle start liking the series more, and people who hate it become more rigid than ever and have less and less of a case, then that's how we'll know how much overall opinion of the show has improved or hasn't.

yeah like most of all the other episodes in TNG and Voyager that Brannon Braga had a hand in.
About the only thing I've ever heard Braga bring up is the fact that he doesn't understand why a lot of fans really like the fourth season of Enterprise over the first three.

I haven't read them yet, but did the Romulan War books ever mention that Archer knew all along Earth would win the Romulan War because he saw a future with Earth in the Federation?
