Spoilers The Mandalorian season 2 discussion

IT HAS A NAME!!!!

Looks like Ashoka doesn’t know about Luke which seems a bit odd. You’d think she would sense him. He’s supposed to be the strongest after all. Took me a second to recognise that soldier until I went, that’s Kyle Reese! What’s he doing here? Obviously he jumped too far back. :)

I hope this Typhon quest gets Grogo in touch with Luke. He could easily appear in this show. Might also redeem him after his poor showing in the sequel films.

Loved that we got her right outta the gate this week. Like Bo, I hope we see more of her.......

It was just vague enough to allow wiggle room that she does know/know of Luke.

I do agree that it's weird that he wasn't mentioned because he should be HUGELY famous, especially among (ex) Jedi.

But since I think it is HIGHLY unlikely he'll appear e in the show, or at least will appear in the show soon, it's definitely better that they don't mention him only for him to never appear.

He will appear in the last episode - his CGI visage will accept the kid into his order... to be slaughtered by Ben. This will then be retrospectively CGI'd into the last trilogy.

The Thrawn name drop would excite me if they didn’t make him so boring in Rebels. Plus those novels don’t really make him out to be a villain.

What makes you think he won’t appear? He’s the only other Jedi out there that would take an interest in him. With deep fake technology, it wouldn’t be that hard to do as well.

Well, we finally learn the child’s name and ... uh, hopefully it will grow on me eventually, yehhhh

Damn, the child’s name, Ahsoka and Michael Biehn, hard to not like this one to some degree. Mando was in fine form in this one, no Jack Burton stuff in this one, this was all baddassery. I knew this had to be a Filoni episode.

Stares at you in Ezra Bridger.........I can see him returning before Luke.

I think we’re going to see a lot of the Rebels characters coming up. Sabine not showing up with Ahsoka after the two of them went off to find Ezra at the end of that show and the mention here of Thrawn leads me to think that.

I think the Ahsoka and Thrawn stuff is a partial setup for the Rebels sequel series. I don’t think Thrawn is going to show up in the show.

Also someone leaked the Bab’s name a few months ago but no one believed them.

To be fair “My friend is related to a stuntman and he told me this” is a bit playground rumour.

It’s also a weird name.

I recall seeing rumors not too long ago about a Mando spinoff. If that’s the case, I wonder if we’re going to get a live action Ahsoka series that ties into both Clone Wars and Rebels.

Grogoo? egh, I can live with it.. And kind of dispensed with the Yoda clone rumors to, as he was in the Younglings during the war.. And doing like Kanan and hiding his abilities, but to no avail.

And Thrawn? So there still looking after 9 years? Interesting. So it "kind of" sets up a Thrawn trilogy type of thing going on, with Ezra as that looney jedi? Shall see, rather it be based in the unknown regions.. :)

I think she did pretty good, Still rather animation because they can show more acrobatics etc. but thats my opinion.and was slightly unbelievable that the Mageistrate could keep up with Ashoka in combat. And learned Beskar is a definse against lazer swords.

As for Luke, they could use Sebatian Stan.. Mark has even said he would like him to be a reboot version of him. So we'll see.

As for the discussion on toy guns, Remember Al Powell in Die hard back in the mid 80's saying he mistakenly shot a kid because he had a ray gun in the dark. So it hasn't been a "New" thing. Cops have to make split second decisions because there life is on the line. Real world, Mistakes happen, and the cop wants to go home to there family in one piece as well.

This is kind of why toys are brightly colored or have an orange tip so cops can tell the difference. and other Bs warning labels etc. I remember my Instruction manual for a jet engine, and the other guy said, all those warnings and notes, those are written in blood, people have made mistakes or found out things the hard way. Some labels are important, others are just CYA so they don't get sued like COFFEE IS HOT.. Duh..

Was it stated when the epilogue scene in the Rebels finale was supposed to take place? Because I'm wondering if it's supposed to be after this episode that Ahsoka goes and meets with Sabine and the two of them go off searching for Ezra?

Grogu....well at least they resisted the temptation to have it start with a 'Y'. He'll still be little Frogwai to me...

And Snips...I'm not going to lie the voice is going to take some getting used to. Also, did her lekku seem a little on the short side to anyone else? I feel like by 'Rebels' they were down to her waist...and that would have been almost a decade prior to this. Here they looked barely longer than they were in the Clone Wars.

I'm assuming from context clues that this is *before* the Rebels coda, not after. Indeed I kinda half expected the spear to end up becoming that staff she had in said coda. Timeline wise all we know is they she picked up Sabine *after* Endor. No indication how long after. So Sabine could still be on Lothal right now.

Yoda and half the council were in the same room as Sidious dozens, if not hundreds of times over the years and had NO CLUE. The force isn't facebook.
No one remembers Yaddle. Poor girl.
Chronologically, the last time we know Yaddle was still around Ahsoka would have been about 4. If Plo had even found her by then, she would have been with her initiate clan most of the time at the temple and probably the only Jedi she saw for the first few years were the caregivers.

This is after the Rebels scene, as it was just after the Battle of Endor, somewhat 5 years ABY, this is set 9 ABY so they have been looking for 4-5 years by this time, and are apparently still looking.
and yes, in Rebels her lekku were not quite waist, maybe midriff, here there just past shoulders.. I just put that into the longer ones may be unweildy and to heavy for her in real life. Having a 20 lbs weight strapped to your head then say.. hey do some fight scenes... Have to make some changes for different media.
