Game 3 pics/gifs - guess the song title.

Wait a minute... is that Are You Lonesome Tonight? (Radford University = R.U.)
Not too difficult after all. :techman:

And, yeah, I had to look up colleges beginning with 'R'.
I'm still trying to get over the fact you didn't know "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was by The Beatles. :wtf:
I took that to be a joke.

I took that to be a joke.

My phrasing in the "answer" post was intended to be a joke, but the fact that I didn't know the song was originally a Beatles song until the day that I made the clue post is 100% true.

As I mentioned in that post, I'm not a Beatles fan. It's not that I actively dislike them or anything, I'm just basically indifferent. I know of them, of course, and I even know a handful of their songs from pop culture or whatnot (I Want to Hold Your Hand, St. Jude, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and Yellow Submarine come to mind). I probably would even recognize a few more of their songs that I don't know are actually them. I know they were a cultural phenomenon in the 1960s. But they were before my time, and I never got into them on my own, and no one close to me has ever been into them to really expose me to their work.

By contrast, I heard the Jeff Healey version a fair bit when I was young, and had no reason to suspect it was a cover.

Anyway, on with the game! This next one is so easy, you'll probably have already figured it out before I've even finished clicking "Post Reply"! ;)

The song is "Hey, Jude." St. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes, hence the hospitals.

^Well, that settles it. She's not a Beatles fan. ;)

Anyway, as to the song:

Yep. :techman:

Okay, it may have been unfair to to a Beatles song just after learning that @Avro Arrow doesn't know their work beyond the most basic, but we were going back and forth between us for a few rounds now, so I kinda wanted to mix it up again.

No worries. :)

And just for the record, no, I've never heard of that one!

OK, this should be very easy:

That's got to be Metallica's Enter Sandman!

Okay, just sayin', this one is really obvious, but in the spirit of opening this up to more players, I'm stepping back for this one.
