Indeed, yes. Burnham is just a main character.
 
Archer basically made Star Trek possible along with Zefram Cochrane and the former is rarely even mentioned again in the franchise after 2161. :lol:

Well they're men so that's fine. A woman can't do the same for reasons that totally aren't sexism. The same thing happened with Janeway. She crippled the Borg, but instead of this being badass it's a criticism because they became so weak that a woman could defeat them.

Thankfully Metroid fans don't have a problem with Samus being the center of her universe. Time for a Metroid movie or tv show!

Yup, anything critical of a woman is automatically sexist.

But I loved and love Janeway. And Kira. And I think T'Pol had one of the best arcs in Trek.

I do, however, think Burnham has real problems, both as written and acted. I must be sexist, though.
 
I think what is going to seriously break canon is the Guardian donut wont look like it is made from paper mache this time round.

I can totally understand the blind rage in those tweets, when put into that context .....

Maybe you were following someone that he blocked followers of.

IIRC you can get programs that will mass block people for you based on what ever criteria you want.

why is spock's head number important then? other anti-canonists at least say they also wouldn't care if vulcans suddenly had purple elephant ears and 3 eyes, so that at least makes sense for them XD
perhaps there is a spectrum between 100% canonists and anti-canonists, and most people are in between ;)
