In case anyone reading this is wondering how clue #1 works... the image is of the Canadian group The Tragically Hip, or just The Hip for short. I wasn't sure how difficult that one would be, since my understanding is they're not really that well known outside of Canada. This was my alternate image if I had needed it:
Granted, I had never seen an artificial hip before searching out the image for this contest, so if someone else had posted it as a clue, I wouldn't have known what it was!

Well, the first image is pretty clear, "Hear", "Listen" or something like that. The second, is that a "meow"?! "Here me out"? Hm. No clue what that third one is. Some kind of cloth or fabric.
I'm not sure if pic 2 is "sigh" or "Marie?" And the last pic--could be purple or pilling--the fabric is all pilled.
