Poll USS Discovery after retrofit

IF Discovery does receive a retrofit, what will it look like? What should be changed? What will be changed? And don’t think about Calypso...

 

Discovery will be retrofitted. It'll be like a classic car on the exterior and in the interior, but modern under the hood.

I could see them adding phaser strips (if that's still what they're using) and maybe changing the nacelle domes, but that's about it.

 

Will they add jazzy reflective panels and make it look all Sovereign class?

A restomod.

 

They might remove the torpedo launchers from the nacelles XD

 

Change the colour to silver and have blue lights over the nacelles. That will make it look more futuristic. I would also make it more curvy with less pointy edges.

 

I think they will eventually abandon the Discovery and get a new 32nd century one.

 

^ Well, that’s one way to pull Calypso into the overall narrative, I suppose. Park the old Discovery in a nebula, cross deck over to the new Discovery and zoom off to new adventures.

I think it will go something like this

 

A chrome'd up Discovery with maybe new nacelles now 'up' may look very nice....

 

I hope so! I would LOVE to see a 32nd century version of the Discovery.

 

It will look the same but be holographic.

 

Saw off some of the nacelle length to ease parallel parking

 

Make it look like it did in the announcement trailer before the redesign.

 

Looks like they upgraded the consoles.
