I agree with all of this, plus Riker back in uniform in the finale on the bridge of a ship. I hope the final scene for Picard will be Picard reinstated in Starfleet back in uniform, maybe going 'engage'
Not really because Star Trek Discovery is filmed in Canada. Picard is filmed in L.A.; and L.A. county has more regulations regarding COVID-19 in place. IE what works for the Canadian government may not work for the local California government with respect to film and TV productions.
Not sure. If it is then yes I don't know why he'd make such a claim, unless they're still ramping up to start actual filming on Star Trek Discovery season 4 and haven't finalized all the procedures.
Eastenders is shooting with transparent screens between the actors, which are digitally removed if they show up on camera. I'd guess other series could do the same.
It's due to begin filming on November 2nd: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/l...l-access?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
Season 4 of Discovery will probably air before season 2 of Picard. I'm still seeing 2020 as a filming start date for Picard.
Don't know how credible it is, but this showed up on my twitter timeline. https://www.spoilertv.com/2020/10/star-trek-picard-renewed-for-3rd-season.html It appears that CBSAA/Paramount+ have renewed for a 3rd Season. According to Production Weekly they are filming seasons 2 & 3 back-to-back Season 2: January 2021 - June 2021 Season 3: June 2021 - November 2021
Yes, they renewed for season 3 a few hours ago. I’m sure Kurtzman will be fired shortly afterwards. BeLieVe me IkNow
Weren't they always planning to film S2 and 3 back to back? I'm sure we heard plans for that a long time ago, and talked about it being a sensible precaution given Sir Patrick's age. Or was it just a plan that was mooted by the showrunners without S3 being officially confirmed?
