Show still boring but having a triple eviction the moment they run out of non-alliance options should make it exciting.

I’m not sure how they can do 4 comps and 3 votes in a single hour.

Is that on for tonight? I'm packing to move, and have huge piles of hardcover books blocking my view of the TV (I haven't watched anything for over 2 weeks). I have no idea who was evicted last time, and it's getting to the point that I don't even care (much).

The show is being recorded on my PVR, but since it's a hassle to move the books back and forth (they're heavy so I need sturdier containers for packing and they won't get here until next week), I just haven't bothered with watching anything.

    Nope, still boring.

Yeah, we’re down to 6, not only did the big alliance completely eradicate everyone else, the first person from the alliance to go was the obvious one.

WHY did those two people not take any of their opportunities to flip the game? Was it not super obvious to them they were 6 and 7?

Three people have basically won all the HoHs this season and they’re all working together.

Unfortunately, this is the way all shows of this ilk are played now.

The only way I can think to shake it up for future seasons would be to re-introduce some kind of America's vote like season one and created some kind of hybrid version. Design HOH competitions to have a threshold they have to pass or America wins HOH. Give America a vote each week. The technology exists to do this pretty seamlessly.

"America" or would you want to include Canada? It irks me beyond measure that there's so much content we're geoblocked from accessing.

I would lose interest immediately if they made it a popularity contest. Then you’re just watching a bunch of narcissists fight.

And I disagree, most seasons it’s not this boring cause all the HoH winners are not in the same alliance. Survivor has not been this boring for over a decade.

Honestly, I'd include Canada based on the fact that you can watch it here, though it would through a wrench in their America everything. I remember voting for Eddy to win BB1 on the phone.

I don't think you need to make it completely a popularity contest, but these games follow the same pattern. You have a majority alliance that runs the first four weeks before it implodes. I think a vote or a nomination by the viewers could introduce another element into the game.

I think the format works well, for the case where there are more than 3 people who can win HoHs. Survivor had an all winner season and it was incredibly unpredictable and entertaining. This season of BB they just happened to pick three people who were just smarter and more physically strong than all the other players, who had similar games and personalities. Cody, Memphis and Tyler.

Although, at this point I'm rooting for Enzo. I really like his game. He was never a member of the Committee, yet he was never targeted by them. He doesn't win stuff, yet he's best friends with all the people who do. I'm super impressed by his social game. If Cody, Memphis and Tyler pick each other apart and Enzo slides in with the victor and gets the money, I'll be happy.

Cody, Enzo and Memphis have all never been nominated, and we're down to 6, and probably will stand down to 5. That is extremely unusual. I wouldn't be too sad if any of them win, but I hope Enzo wins. Best social game of all time.

Who is still there? I haven't watched anything for the last 2 weeks.

Cody, Enzo, Memphis, Tyler, Christmas, Nicole.

Tyler and Christmas are nominated, Cody is HoH again, and the central alliance now is Cody-Enzo-Memphis.

Nicole might win this thing because she is being underestimated again. She sits there and cries and whines and people don't think she's a threat.

My money now is on Enzo.

Excepting Derrick, best social game of all time. Derrick is the best player in Big Brother history but in this game Enzo might be #2.

Nicole will have trouble in the final vote if she doesn't win anything. The problem with this season is everyone who won HoH has been on the same side.

I want to call out, one of the people in the already recorded season of Amazing Race is my friend's cousin.

I agree that Enzo has played a stellar social game, but if he goes to the end with Cody, the only way he wins is if the jury is bitter, like Dani seems to be.

Really, the only person left that doesn't have a chance of winning is Christmas. I don't think there is anyone in the jury house that will give her a vote.

    Premieres Wednesday.

I was originally airing in May but they pushed it to Fall because they knew they wouldn't have a Survivor.

It was filmed in late 2018.

At this point I think Nicole has a way better chance than she did before. Cody probably has to win either HoH or veto both weeks left cause nobody will take him to final 2. But now I think either Cody wins or whoever lands the kill blow on Cody wins.

In Amazing Race besides Leo and Alana (My friend’s cousin) I might be rooting for the dyslexic woman just cause I think that gives her a major disadvantage on most of the challenges.

I edited the thread title to include The Amazing Race. There's no point in a separate thread since we've already started discussing it.

As usual, I'm not going to bother learning anyone's name in the first month or so.

The task with the steel drums was cool. As someone who plays music by ear, I think I might have done a decent job on that one.

I'm glad that Nicole is still in the house.

I like the new Yield system, especially if it means they finally got rid of U turns. Much more fair.

At this point Cody is clearly the best player, but all three remaining are deserving of victory. I feel like whoever wins the final HoH probably wins.
