heh tiny continuity error, that piece of the Solvang's saucer that the Parkled's attach to their ship, it already attached when the Cerritos first shows up, before the scene of them attaching it to their hull.

Something something, show sucks, creators don't care about continuity error (sarcasm)
Something similar happened in the episode about the scrap yard with the aliens throwing the same piece of the TOS ship at them, even though it broke apart the first time.

What a great episode. Seeing the Titan show up, having Boimler finally get his promotion, and so many other bits and pieces, and tucked into all of that fan service goodness was some actual commentary on Starfleet/the Federation. Very well done.

The Titan, Captain Riker, and Counselor Troi was the best part of the episode. Mostly, because I wasn't expecting Lower Decks to do a crossover like that. If next season can promise more episodes like this season finale, I'll keep watching.

Hey the last two seasons of Star Trek both end with Riker coming to save the day:vulcan:

Great episode, so many easter eggs and references. Riker watches Enterprise on the holodeck, TOS in in-universe lingo, TAS Kirk and Spock. All the LDS callbacks, from the bat'leth to Badgey. Fun stuff.

Not that I've seen it. It's amazing what you can get from gifs on tumblr.

Were they emulating the Aliens music that's been used in a hundred movie trailers?

Ya know Aliens and lots of Trek music were done by James Horner........he's done like 200 films. So if anything it was in the Horner style.

Well a lot of his music of that era went beyond being 'samey" to being pretty much the same. Of course, that was because he was terribly ill andt still needed the work.

He and WIlliams both kinda borrowed a lot from the sound and vibe of Gustav Holst for their Sci-Fi films......and yeah Horner got to be a little cookie cutter in the 80s.

what an excellent episode to finish out their very nice 1st season. Looking forward to many more seasons!
Love the series, despite the annoying Tedi (orion)
Mariner is so much fun :)

I really liked the "do not obey" sign with the starfleet delta on Landru. That was a nice touch.

Considering how many crazy computers who rule on civilisations there are out there, I believe that that sign is part of standard equipment on every Starfleet ship.
