Something similar happened in the episode about the scrap yard with the aliens throwing the same piece of the TOS ship at them, even though it broke apart the first time.heh tiny continuity error, that piece of the Solvang's saucer that the Parkled's attach to their ship, it already attached when the Cerritos first shows up, before the scene of them attaching it to their hull.

Something something, show sucks, creators don't care about continuity error (sarcasm)
yes!! that was great!Did anyone notice that when Freeman and Ransome were looking at a log picture of Kirk and Spock, the picture was in the style of the TAS animation?
Ya know Aliens and lots of Trek music were done by James Horner........he's done like 200 films. So if anything it was in the Horner style. Were they emulating the Aliens music that's been used in a hundred movie trailers?
He and WIlliams both kinda borrowed a lot from the sound and vibe of Gustav Holst for their Sci-Fi films......and yeah Horner got to be a little cookie cutter in the 80s.Well a lot of his music of that era went beyond being 'samey" to being pretty much the same. Of course, that was because he was terribly ill andt still needed the work.
Considering how many crazy computers who rule on civilisations there are out there, I believe that that sign is part of standard equipment on every Starfleet ship.I really liked the "do not obey" sign with the starfleet delta on Landru. That was a nice touch.
