Spoilers The Boys: Season 2 on Amazon Prime (2020)

The Deep and A-Train are going to be in a cult together.

Hopefully Maeve and Starlight can team up against Homelander and Stormfront.

As for Lamplighter, i get a feeling that he gonna get killed eventually. Stormfront is going to kill him for joining the good guys.

Black Noir is a company man and i am not sure with whom he will side with ?

This season isn't quite as gripping as their first was. Maybe it's because we've gotten used to the raw brutality of the series but this seems to be meandering a bit. We have the plots of Stormfront and her secret plans, but there's stuff that seems to be too much of a slow burn like the Church of the Collective and Homelander's son.

Plus I'm finding Kimiko's whole "can't talk" thing a little dull by now. Her brother could talk normally after all.

I'm hoping Frenchie will eventually get her to teach him her language, so she can actually communicate.
The introduction of Lamplighter was pretty good. It's always nice to get even a semi decent Supe.
It was nice to see Starlight and Butcher interact, they haven't really had a ton of screen time together.
I was a little surprised they actually did work all of the Nazi stuff into Stormlight's backstory. Her connection to Vought was a big surprise.

Lately, it seems to me that The Deep is the most likable character! I love when he casually drops a reference to hanging with some rowdy halibut or some nonsense. The focus seems to have drifted from Butcher and Hughie to Frenchie and um, (looks at IMDB, is he only known as Mother's Milk? Homelander must love him...). And we have Stormfront moving front and center with everything now, where the hell did she come from, she seems too prominent to not have been around.

I'm kind of missing the big picture, like stuff is happening and I know what's going on but I don't really see what it's leading up to, so far it's not coming together as a compelling whole. Sometimes it just feels like watching characters do stuff and then do more stuff. I wonder if part of that comes from being drip fed with the weekly release with a story that would work better consumed in bigger chunks.

Last season it seemed that The Seven were a bunch of amoral bastards which I thought worked better than the more explicitly immoral bastards this year. I guess that's the point, escalating the threat of Vought but it feels somehow distant to all the noise.

Season 2 slowed down a little after episode 4. I feel like i'm just waiting for something big to happen these episodes. One problem is that there are more character based stories here which take away from the main arc of the series.

I really feel differently. I think I am enjoying this season more than the first season, and it is precisely because this season has been so focused on character development. Oddly enough, Hughie seems to be the only character who has not had much growth or backstory development. He seems to just be a stand in for the everyman, which is his role, but we really are not getting to know him any better than we did last season.

This video is annoying in the way these videos tend to be including ALL the volume levels seeming to be cranked on the guy's voice but there's some interesting tidbits and easter eggs in here.

I love the fact they managed to make a Ron Jeremy Supe

At first i thought "Well, that's an interesting V side effect" but cringed and laughed equally when he used it Tentacle Hentai porn style on MM :guffaw::guffaw:

That writer's room must be one hell of a place to come up with such an idea.

I love this season and i'm curious if this will really turn out to be one large Supe on Supe battle in the finale with the Boys in between so that for season 3 the stakes are upped because season by season it gets more unbelievable that the Boys survive against insanely criminal Super"heroes" (and hiding from season to season).

The FBI Supervising Agent chick or whoever she was got her head popped. Assume that this the same person or group poppin heads here. It will look bad for Vought since witnesses and congress members investigating them were targeted. But it could be a "supe" or someone using supes to get at Vought as well.

She was a Central Intelligence Agency officer and she was perhaps skirting her jurisdiction (the CIA is more overseas orientated than the more domestic orientated Federal Bureau of Investigation).

Mallory, Federal agencies, and the President will likely suspect Vought, but will deem the outrage as a tacit warning to back off from Vought and have nothing to prove (plus you see Shockwave and Ashley's assistant die in the attack, to play it up to the gullible public as a super terrorist attack).
