Spoilers Star Trek: Lower Decks 1x08 - "Veritas"

Loved it. Q, the “scanning” scene with an increasing amount of Warbirds. The Roga Danar deep dive and Rutherfords blackouts. The Doctor getting lost was icing on the cake.

these last two have been the best episodes of the series so far.

 

Heh, The planet they were on was earth turned sideways, look at the night lights, Indus is centre of the screen.

 

I thought Fletcher was flat out kicked out of Starfleet. He was going back to Earth because he was out of the organization and with good reason.

 

Fletcher was wearing an Ensign pip in the communication. He had been promoted to full Lieutenant when he was transferred to the Titan. So he was definitely demoted, unlikely to have been fully separated from the service at that point (although they may have been investigating).

Best episode so far this season. I'm giving it a 10, just for Q alone, and the TOS bird of prey. Tendi and Rutherford were the all stars this week, so they have to share the game ball. Bonus points for Boimler's speech at the "trial."

Gorn Wedding!

This is the first new Trek that I've looked forward to in years.

I say this every week, but I just love this show.

I think from the beep, we're to interpret "butthole" or "vagina." Unlike Tendi, she doesn't randomly bleep stuff.

 

I like how that museum also has a T'Plana-hath-style Vulcan survey vessel on display next to the Romulan Bird-of-Prey from TOS.

 

And without missing a beat, the Captain's like: "You should probably do that anyway."

 

Since T'Ana wears a full uniform, it makes you wonder what kind of relationship she and the captain have...
