All the Negative people.

Looking past the label and internet nonsense that goes on around it, many did complain when later on in Voyager, the Doctor and Seven seemed to be able to solve every situation. So it follows many will not like Mariner's character doing the same to an even larger extent in the first two eps so far of Lower Decks. For some it's kind of the same with Wesley Crusher. A lot complained about it with young Kirk in the new movies as well. I think it will take some more episodes to see what happens

we already know that Mariner will not only cause every problem but it will be her superior saavy, knowledge, fighting ability, awesomeness that will solve every problem.
Well, yeah. Mariner is the lead character. That's what lead characters in any show (Star Trek or otherwise) do.
And it is much different than Kirk and Spock..
It really isn't. The only difference between Kirk and Spock and Mariner aside from their ranks is that Kirk and Spock are male, and Mariner's a female.

Tom sucked at first aid. He is assigned to the role and then Kes basically takes it over in season 1, it wasnt just an opportunity to make the character look better. He is also shown to be nervous at landing the ship on a planet, although he's the best pilot they have, he isn't perfect.

Negative people = Eric Cartman shouting "RESPECT MY AUTHORITA!" while Casa Bonita is burning down around him cuz smart people like him don't need to stop playing with matches....

Mariner isn't a Mary Sue. She just isn't a very subtle character. She is all loud personality but lacking any inner depth so far. At some point they need to start humbling the character and have her make mistakes with lasting consequences if they want to ever elevate the show. Or they might just be fine with them with being one note archetypes in order to get some laughs and maybe they are content with the show being just a fine regular cartoon and they aren't interested in aiming higher. Or maybe CBS doesn't want them to aim higher because the show could easily become harder for casual fans to access if you get to deep with Trek trivia stuff only we fans are familiar with.

Cartoons can be subtle or self aware about obnoxious characters, to see that just take a look at Avatar: the last airbender or even or the show the Lower Decks humor seems based on, Rick and Morty.

She's also a cartoon character, and has cartoonish reactions to things.

That's true but you can also create genuine human moments as well if you want. Like say the Family Guy episode were Stewie and Brian are locked in vault overnight or Fry's dog waiting forever for him to come home and lots of stuff in Clone Wars and Rebels. It doesn't have to be non-stop jokes. With Trek being Trek you would think they would be aiming higher and maybe aiming at being more thoughtful and hopeful and maybe something more in tone with TNG since it's playing off it more than the other shows but instead they seem to have decided to go for zany and more zany. It's not a bad thing it's just you would think they could do much better if they wanted.
