Now that I think of it, it'd be a waste if he didn't. They've got Stewart, it's set when he was in Starfleet...
As long as his visit he asks rutherford about the replicator being a cocaine machine...
It'd be a good chance for references to the recent events in NEM.

Youtube has posted the Metaverse Star Trek Picard panel with Evan Evagora and Isa Briones and Michelle Hurd. This panel is so much better done than the San Diego Comicon panel a few weeks ago.This host is a Star trek fan and he does a good job interviewing the cast.

Apparently, in July, there was a contest to win a visit on set and a "walk on role" for season 2. Hopefully, our biggest SPS fan entered! Might be fun to try and spot the person when it finally airs.

As much as I'm a defender of DISCO, I'm going to say that I prefer PICARD and am watching it for the third time. It may not be 100% perfect and feels a bit more like Mass Effect versus classic Trek but I like Mass Effect and have at least two episodes I truly love (Freecloud and Rikker/Troi).
