In Canada, they make both, Yes, there is also a Heinz ketchup and French's mustard in Canada too.

Actually the plant that makes Heinz in Canada closed in 2013/14. French's stepped up and decided to start making ketchup because of that. But yes, you can still get Heinz here, just not manufactured here anymore.

I work in grocery. I've seen both in America as well (although not without the French language or "made proudly in Canada" signage). Condiment companies tend to branch out these days, even in my neck of the woods where condiments in general don't sell very well.

Why do they have sonic showers in the 24th century, when they can just replicate water?

Possibly sonic showers feel really good and luxurious.

The transporter should be the only hygiene station you'd need. It can remove urine, poo, dirt and grime from skin and clothes, plaque from teeth...

It can already remove weapons and clothes, so it is not much of a stretch of computing power to enable it for freshness.

Yeah, but that'd mean on a Galaxy-Class ship you'd have to perform 1000 transports each day just to clean the crew. Four main transporter rooms, six people at a time.

O'Brien would get carpal tunnel working the sliders that often!
