Did you even read what I said? Also stop insulting people you don't agree with.I've seen them dissect every detail in an episode with half-a-dozen videos!
Their YT audience is a bunch of drooling, musty, gatekeepers too.

They're also doing Q&A with the audience during it.
Many youtubers have the same problem.
It's mostly bad preparation. They keep repeating the same things, or don't know what to say, or struggle for words, or simply read articles that we can read ourselves.
Another reason I’ve given up on just about all YouTube reviews. Anytime the review is longer than the episode.....I just can’t.A lot of annoyed YouTube behavior has to do with trying to please the YouTube Algorithm, that's one of the main reasons to stretch your runtime out.
Yeah, I saw that too. It was chuckle worthy.I noticed a nod to Mirror Spock, at the end when they release the antidote, there’s a Vulcan with black goo on his face in the shape of a goatee.
The point , I guess is that bridge characters are suposed to be types who in the actual ST series would be center of the attention, while the ensigns would be acknowledged, but mostly existing as cameos. So this is exaggerated situation that wants to bang us over our heads with fact that ensigns should be ones we actually celebrating as our representatives. Yes, it´s probably going to be a little forced.
Assuming that the saucer of a California-class ship is as large as that on a Galaxy-class ship, I would assume that Douglas Station is as large as Starbase 74.
It wasn't. They're completely different designs.
I like to think every ship has those uniform creator apps from Star Trek Online and the captain gets to choose whatever his crew wears. What's with Starfleet? Ever since they ditched the TOS movie era uniforms, they've changed them every few years.
Maybe it coinsides with the invention of replicators. You can update every few years without needing to ship gear around the galaxy. What's with Starfleet? Ever since they ditched the TOS movie era uniforms, they've changed them every few years.
I'm 98% sure it's for merchanding reasons.Maybe it coinsides with the invention of replicators. You can update every few years without needing to ship gear around the galaxy.
I was a little annoyed with the 2 uniforms in PIC though as I thought the flashbacks would have been much better with the FC/INS/DS9 kit
Agreed--hard to get the joke when you're busy clutching your pearls. In the Olympic scene, the joke was not about nudity (was it technically nudity at all?) , it was about using the holodeck for prurient interests, I thought. And Mariner's libido.
You are probably correct......I thought the whole holodeck scene was pretty funny, including the Olympic bit and the Orion girl's reaction.
Interestingly, had they made it two guys lusting after naked girls, there'd be outrage on social media, but that's a separate conversation I guess.

Warp effect with Stars! WOO WOO!! ( Yes i dispise that Hyperspace looking crap of newness)
I figure its different sector and fleet commands allowing for some variation and applying different styles over the years, depending on assignment. What's with Starfleet? Ever since they ditched the TOS movie era uniforms, they've changed them every few years.
