The carrier in and of itself looks like a sweet borderpatrol ship. It doesn't strike me as frontline defense but as a borderpatrol I think it would work great!

Aye...she is not a ship proper...just designed to get the prototype weapon to and from it's strike point. Or once it completes a strike, to self destruct.

Working on a new Bird of Prey...On this one I think it would've have been a Lost Era, like Phase 2 Tal'Shiar Ship with obvious Klingon influences...
