How often do you watch TNG these days?

god bless those 2002 box sets, they got me through a lot of all-nighters in graduate school.

although i cherry-picked episodes through the sets as they were released, i'm currently plowing through my first complete blu ray TNG run in airing order. i started a week and a half ago and just finished "the wounded" last night. "devil's due" here i come...

Currently in Season 7 of a complete rewatch. After I will move on to a complete Voyager rewatch.

I'm stalled in TNG rewatch, early S7. S7 is just a round watch for me. I'd really rather do S1 or 2 than finish 7. There's maybe only two other episodes in S7 I want to watch, other than AGT. This rewatch of TNG was spawned by something and I started in S3, so I need to go back to do S1 and 2 anyway.

Finished Voyager a couple months ago, and then kind of stalled in a Enterprise rewatch, I got distracted by something that prompted me into a TNG rewatch. Only a few left in Enterprise anyway, will go back to it at some point.

I have the upgraded blu ray complete series and it looks great. I watch it often.

I would love for DS9 and VOY to get this treatment and join TNG, TOS, ENT and the new shows.

I don't think I will ever get sick of TOS, TNG or DS9. VOY and ENT I need to revisit.

given the expense involved versus the potential revenue for CBS, this appears to still be very, very unlikely. they are content to stream god-awful up-res'd SD versions of those shows.

Oh yeah unfortunately you are right but it's too bad. The shows deserve the best presentation possible.

The CTV Sci-fi channel (horrible, disgusting name for what used to be the Space Channel) runs Star Trek series 5 days/week:

Monday: TOS
Tuesday: TNG
Wednesday: Voyager
Thursday: DS9
Friday: Enterprise

Don't ask me why Voyager and DS9 are reversed; I have no idea.

There are several episodes each day that cycle through twice, so it's entirely possible to watch 8 hours/day if you want to watch them twice.

I watch if I'm in the mood and it's an episode I like. I haven't seen all of Enterprise, so it's hit and miss. I've seen some of the episodes half a dozen times and others not even once. I have no clue at all which season is currently being shown, and don't really care. It's something to listen to in the background while I'm on the computer or waiting for what I really want to see.

I watch a lot of BBC Earth and PBS these days.

I rewatched it last year in preparation for Picard. I also rewatched it during 2016, as part of my huge anniversary franchise rewatch. :D

You should! It's like meeting up with an old friend after some time apart. Very satisfying.
Totally agree. I am almost at the part where I have to start watching Ds9 with it. For me personally, It's been nice to have the shows back in my.life again.

I haven't done a concurrent watch in a very long time. Changing the DVDs between episodes sort of put me off, kwim. But with streaming, it would be easy-peasy. Hmm....

Probably 4 or 5 times a week. It's my "go to" show when I can't find anything else to watch, or don't feel like investing my brain cells into a modern serialized drama.

Netflix is convenient, but I pride myself on owning those fantastic TNG-R blurays. What a great project that was!

I remember looking forward to TNG when it was announced! Man I'm old. I grew up watching TOS. I still watch them both, but I save them for when I am really in the mood to watch. I try not to wear out my favorites.

I have some favorites I turn to depending on my mood.
Existentially sad or confused what to do with my life: Tapestry, Yesterday's Enterprise, Lower Decks.
Missing family or worried about the world: Inner Light, All Good Things.
Seeking something clever or engaging: Clues, Timescape.
Looking for a laugh and a few heebie-jeebies: Genesis, Sub Rosa.

Once a week at present but once finished will use production order next (not that different I guess) plus the great but very strange BBC order!
