What's the plan for the sides of the raised section? It feels like it'd be weird to remain empty. Maybe a "Yesterday's Enterprise" or Battle Bridge style standing console?
Some more work on the Lafayette, I've integrated the new (well, new here, it's a reuse) aft section into the bridge. There will be a small rail next to the steps, and new chairs will be added to the back consoles, in a similar style as the integrated chairs from the aft of the TNG bridge.

This project is such a cool idea! I love the bridge of the NX-01 and it's interesting to see how the general layout looks with a different aesthetic. It's interesting to see how close the configuration resembles the Defiant bridge minus the additional consoles facing the center.@The Librarian: Most likely one of those vertical alert indicator panels, in true TNG fashion the idea is to not over-clutter the space.
@Ryan Thomas Riddle: Glad you are!
Work progressing on the Columbia wall consoles. As you can see, I'm keeping it very NX inspired, with the metallic handrails and the 6 overhead lights. Will be fun to see how I'll fill it up with LCARS, I already have a couple of ideas.

A Horta officer on the Enterprise-A already done in the comics so I can only hope.A Horta captain? I feel like that will be in an episode of Lower Decks.
That's a fucking awesome bridge!
I loved that novel. Today’s CGI would make the ‘sphere awesomeI mentioned this on Twitter... folks curious about Starfleet Horta should look up the novel "Dyson Sphere", which describes Horta accommodations (I recall...) as Saddles. Our starfleet heroes even try sitting in them near the end of the novel.
