Now they have to do it.They can set a future version of Rear Window there![]()
why does it make sense to have an indent there? What's strange about it?
Is there a reason it can't? Some obscure rule of warp dynamics?why does it make sense to have an indent there?
but what purpose it be.. when they can actually maximize the living space? You are asking a negative question. It's like me asking why the sky is blue and you just coming back with "why can't it be?"Is there a reason it can't? Some obscure rule of warp dynamics?
Maybe there's a structure under there that requires the shape.but what purpose it be.. when they can actually maximize the living space? You are asking a negative question. It's like me asking why the sky is blue and you just coming back with "why can't it be?"
yes.. that's my question. I figured someone here who is all sweaty about starships and designs (and I'm not sounding disrespectful about that.. I think that's awesome) might know, and I'd like to learnMaybe there's a structure under there that requires the shape.
I'm look for the reason you think it's strange. I'm sure a lot of Trek ships have indents somewhere.
They mostly like just be making things up. There is a cutaway in trailer. Go to town.yes.. that's my question. I figured someone here who is all sweaty about starships and designs (and I'm not sounding disrespectful about that.. I think that's awesome) might know, and I'd like to learn

It's a courtyard so that more people can have windows in their quarters.Anyone have any idea what this strange indent is for on the hull?

Everyone agrees that the first season of TNG has not aged well. but here is the thing.. when it was made everyone worked so hard on it. The idea of designing a ship with a "technology unchained" philosophy (mixing the best of technology with improved quality of life) wound up being more than having a wooden railing on the bridge, it was incorporated into every aspect of the bridge's design. Everything from makeup tests on actors to motion control photography of the D resulted in creating long hours for everyone involved, and something that truly felt in line with Star Trek. Every show that bared the name required no less effort to produce, until now. Cheap animation and a crass attitude is not befitting the name Star trek. It's the lowest common denominator.*goes to engage with thread*
