Why didn't the Voyager intro change like other Trek intros?

So all other Trek series besides Voyager had some major alterations done where the intro would be sufficiently different in a way from prior seasons. Binging Voyager as we speak, and noticed that it doesn't change AT ALL besides some minor credit changes. Why didn't they show a new intro of Voyager in latter seasons?

Likely because the producers didn't think a new intro was necessary or was worth the expense. Had they felt differently, I'm sure there would have been a different intro.
Just seemed odd to me because they did it for TOS, TNG, DS9 and even Enterprise for In a Mirror Darkly (not to mention altering the theme). Hell, even Discovery has had changes done in the S2 opening. Just seemed odd they didn't do so with Voyager, especially considering the many various new places they visited through their adventures in the Alpha Quadrant.

TOS only added credits, right? I think TNG's first intro was too simplistic, so they wanted a more interesting one. DS9 had a major change with the addition of the Defiant, so it made sense to include her in the intro. ENT only changed the music. VOY's intro was pretty perfect already, and probably quite expensive compared to the others, so there was no reason to change it.

TNG's was changed because, in all honesty, the first version sucked. With DS9's, it was done to emphasise how the station had gone from being a sleepy outpost to an important hub between Seasons 1 and 4. For better or worse, Voyager had its format down from the first episode and never much deviated from it, so there was no technical or thematic reason to change it.

I seem to remember Voyager's intro was incredibly expensive to produce at the time. The section where it passes through the interstellar gas being one part that was a revolutionary piece of SFX at the time. There's some really nice details in there too, the shadow of the ship passing over the ice ring, and how the colour of the ship tonally shifts as it moves towards the nebula at the end, all great. Just a shame we never got to see these parts of the journey in an episode!

The gas scene always looked odd to me, cause only the tip of the ship moves it apart, but the nacelles don't - so it must have scratched through that stuff at an angle
My family still mocks me for screaming "It has a reflection in the rings!!!" back then XD

Very simple answer: it was fine as it was the first time. No improvement or update needed. Changing it would have been merely for the sake of change (and cost a lot of money).

And that narration... "These are the enterprises of the starship Voyager. To boldly go home, while doing a bunch of irrelevant stuff along the way/." Wouldn't have quite cut it, would it?

I like the Voyager theme as is.

But if they randomly replaced it with the Simon & Simon theme I wouldn't complain.

They hit a home run right from the start. TNG was series in progress and made improvements as they went along so it was a natural progression in SFX and the nature which was done was risky and problematic, but the SFX team got it done. DS9 was absolutely brilliant and it perfectly represented what it was... until it wasn't. Season 4 was a completely different series and it needed to amp up the excess to a level of redundancy, but VOY's opening expresses the ship was lost. The ship is travelling through space flying by planets which appear as alien as the show was supposed to represent. As for intros it was spot on and didn't require changes, if so, it would've fallen down the same useless pitfalls DS9 did. TNG = Boldy GO. DS9 (originally 1st - 3rd seasons) = IT WAITS. VOY = LOST but There's HOPE.

VOY's was pretty perfect as it was originally made. Check out the 4K version on YouTube.
