There wasn't reason to change the intro, and the trend of doing an episode-specific intro wasn't a thing yet.
Always annoyed me that voyager didn't change uniforms after meeting emh2

The TOS intro changed slightly. The early episodes didn't have the Enterprise flash past at the beginning. The rest is just adding Kelley's credit and the text color changing with each season.
The was nothing wrong with the TNG first season credits. The flying out past the planets was fine. Replacing that was the only change (aside from the cast list and the style of the logo). Once the Enterprise appears it's the same for the whole run of the show.
The reflection in the rings shot in Voyager is pretty, but it wrecks the scale so you would end up with a planet only a few miles across.
I wonder whether if the original uniforms designed for Generations had gone through that we'd have seen Voyager wearing those or still ending up wearing the DS9 uniforms.I found it interesting that Voyager was the only series to keep the same uniform design throughout its whole run - and not even a design that was new when the first used it.
No idea what that is.

What does the uniforms has anything to do with the intro of Star Trek: Voyager???
You couldn't tell the differences in seasons of VOY??? Not even when there was an introduction of Seven of Nine, nor the difference in Chakotay's hair color, Kes no longer being a member of the crew, nor Janeway's hairstyle and the weight gain, nor the Borg children on board? I could identify which season of VOY I was watching with the color balancing, the more frequent cgi fx, including the costuming. It's just strange sometimes members have thread drifts for sake of having them with zero relevance of the topic at hand.It was part of a general point that Voyager didn't aesthetically change very much throughout its run, in contrast to TNG and DS9.
Hell, prior to the remaster, you could tell which season of TNG you were watching just by the colour balance, let alone the costuming.

Maurice, could you explain this a little further, please? The TOS intro changed slightly. The early episodes didn't have the Enterprise flash past at the beginning. The rest is just adding Kelley's credit and the text color changing with each season.

For the ship to reflect on the rings like that it would have to be only a few hundred feet above them. Since the ship is so large relative to the rings you can easily work out that the rings are tiny, and the planet would be itty bitty.Maurice, could you explain this a little further, please?
This video explains it well:Maurice, could you explain this a little further, please?
