Directors Guild of Canada Adds 'Star Trek: Enterprise' Production Page

I thought Picard was strongest in those first few episodes before they left Earth. I'd happily watch him solve crimes with his Irish-Romulan housekeepers.
I think if the show had been the three of them traveling around the galaxy solving mysteries I'd like it a lot more. In fact, add Soji into the mix and it's basically the First Doctor gang going on adventures. I think that would be more enjoyable than yet another evil AI plot.

Production Weekly mentions Star Trek - Enterprise (Strange New World) and Star Trek - Section 31 (Wind Cleaver) in their new production update for this week. Meaning that the Pike show is probably really being called Enterprise. Unless Production Weekly is unreliable as well, which I don't believe.

Does anyone have a subscription and could tell us what news is inside?

I still don’t understand why people thought I made up the “Star Trek: Enterprise” title. That’s the effing title.

That said, based on how this forum struggled to comprehend why that was the title, it might be best to retitle it to something easier for simple minds.

The listing says: “A Star Trek: Discovery spin-off series centered around Capt. Christopher Pike. (Jake Cannavale mentioned for the role of James T. Kirk)”

I think Strange New Worlds is the better title. Not just because it sounds better but because it also sounds more like what you'd expect from a show I assume would want to be TOS for the 2020s.

That and the fact that Star Trek: Enterprise is a pre-existing series that's in the CBS All Access Library next to all the other Star Trek shows. Why have two shows named "Enterprise" when there's nothing wrong with "Strange New Worlds"? It's a good title.

This is a very good title.

You know, the couple of worlds we saw in "The Cage" were rather stranger than a lot of the worlds that Kirk and company visited for a while - if by "strange" we stipulate "grotesque" and "a little scary."

Which is just fine.

Star Trek - Enterprise would have been OK, but Strange New Worlds is so much better though.

HAPPY!!!!!!!

Just what I needed to hear after a stressful day of working from home. It wouldn't be my first choice for the title, but I like how it sounds. I'm genuinely surprised they made the announcement so soon... I wasn't expecting anything official before Discovery Season 3 aired.
