Seeing as Im bored in lockdown I was wondering what is everyones favorite (mirror, alt. and fake future stuff count too)

Im a big fan of the uniforms having a similar colour scheme with just small indicators for roles so I loved the FC/ late DS9 uniforms and the future All Good Things one the worst followed by the early TNG.

Loved the All Good Things combadge and the PIC version is the best yet and there was an interesting take n rank in TNGs Future Imperfect where it is displayed as bars on the badge

I like the TNG, DS9, Discovery and ENT uniforms.

The TNG and early DS9 /VOY ones becuase they were the right amount of colourful, but not too colourful for me.
The Discovery and ENT uniforms meanwhile looked more like uniforms, but not too drab either.

The TOS uniforms are way too colourful (and gender coded) for my taste, while the FC/late DS9 were too colourless for me.
And as far as the PIC uniforms go...they look a bit "off" to me, but I'm sure if I managed to like the show, the uniforms would quickly grow on me.

Form non-canon works I also like the Odyssey uniforms from STO, I think they are a reasonable compromise between the TNG/VOY and First Contact uniforms.

I don't have a preference in com badge and truth be told I don't even know how many different ones there were or when they were used.

I like the current PIC uniforms but the flashback ones seem "off" to me too and look a bit like something I would have designed as a 10yo which is a complaint I have about a lot of the ships since Kelvin and beyond aswell

I don't know. I'm a classic Trek guy, so I guess I'm partial to the TOS uniforms. As to TNG/DS9/VOY uniforms, they're all similar (skipping season 1 of TNG) enough I don't have a real preference of which one, but that would be my second pick. I haven't seen either the Discovery or Picard series, so I can't say about them.

My least favorite of all time has to be the one-piece work jumper from TMP. Just ... no.

Honestly? Picard's uniforms (2390s) are my fave canon wise, followed by TOS. Solid black, two piece, no frills other than the badge. The high neck is welcome.

The 2380 uniforms look...cheap. It's the arm detail. Why is it not ingrained into the arm sleeve? Ah well.

TOS uniforms are my favs for sure, followed by the Trek 2 thru 6 uniforms and the grey/black uniforms from First Contact/DS9.

My favorite uniform is TNG's season 2 dress uniform... but I will admit that it does depend on who's wearing it. ;)

Favorite combadge would be the First Contact one.

Did you like the combination of both on Captain Geordi La Forge?
I love wearing it like that in Star Trek Online.

    Favourite combadge: Generations/late-DS9/Voyager

    Favourite uniform: First Contact/late-DS9

Special mention: TMP uniforms (know I'll be ripped to shreds for this, but I love the variety of styles, which makes them distinct from all others, as well as the introduction of a wider range of department colours, the pastels are a 'meh')

I'm in the rare camp that find the TMP uniforms to be the best. The only improvement I can see is if they had the gray and white admiral's uniforms for all the officers and crew, but replaced the gray with command gold/engineering red/sciences blue, depending on your department. It would be just reminiscent enough of Space:1999 to give it a distinct 70's vibe, but different enough that you could tell it was Star Trek. :)

EDIT: Just saw the above post. Glad someone else likes the TMP uniforms!

I like the TOS era, TOS movies, FC-DS9, Delta Flyer racing uniform, ENT, and 2380s uniforms the best.

TOS era – this includes TOS, Kelvin movies and DSC variants

TOS movies 2-6 – very space navy

FC-DS9 - these were my favourite as a kid

Delta Flyer - the coolest looking one

ENT - the only known uniform with pockets and a down to earth uniform

2380s (although they would look best with the 2399 combadge)

Combadge … I don’t really have a favourite. Although the "Future Imperfect" one is the most unique to me, since it also does away with rank pips.

LaForge didn't wear the "Future Imperfect" combadge in that episode, but the "All Good Things..." one. But I do kind of wish the combo LaForge wore in that episode was the one in play in PIC though.

It depends on two factors. Favorite for me to look at? Or Favorite if I was part of a crew?

Part of a crew its easy. The Enterprise outfits, look the most comfortable, they appear to be the most useful (Hey, we have pockets), and rank and division aren't obvious from a. distance (good so you are targeted for any away missions by enemies).

For look, I would say Beyond outfits and First Contact style.

I've always been in that camp and I'll say it again: TMP uniforms were conceptually the strongest in all of Trek. Short-sleeve options, alternate rank insignia, rank/division combined, change of uniforms from "in port" to "underway." They're not perfect, but stronger than the rest.

I think its mostly the tightness that makes them the "butt" of so many jokes for people.

Despite what i said earlier about sticking to 1 colour the multicolour photoshops of the 2-6 movie uniforms are amazing especially the blue

Yeah probably, but the spandex jumpsuit was more in the background and only worn briefly by two of the main cast (Uhura and Decker) IIRC. The majority of the uniforms worn were no tighter than TOS. Also, leftover TMP jumpsuits were dyed and used in TWOK and after.
